It’s dirty, but short of copyrighting graphics it will continue to happen.   Reputable companies like Passau, Brian’s and Kenesky won’t straight copy.  Scott is doing what his customer asked and paid for.   No idea who is even buying his crap anymore

They offer tan retro jenpro and also real leather.  Depends what you're after.

Since most of their sets are completely custom the back of the pad will look different.  On mine I had their elastic smart strap system with a tight leg channel.  It really comes down to what you want option wise

My sources say no go on Airslide for the GT line.  Keeping with the more "Traditional" feel of the line.  I would expect many drastic changes or revisions to the GTs

Nope.  From my brief stint as a monster rep, leave the knot as it so it doesn't pull thru.

Use a set of pliers tho to tighten up the knot

Hey guys, quick question for you.

I have my new pads and I have installed bungee ties on them, but mine are adjustable so I have to set the length myself.

After whatever weaving method you use and you're ready to go to the top of the skate to velcro the tabs together. how taught is each end?  Do you have to stretch the bungee chord to reach the top of your skate or does it freely reach the top of your skate?

I'm not sure how taught each end should be after weaving and then how much pressure there needs to be pulling on the velcro tabs once they are together.

Mine is snug but not so tight that there's a pile of stress on the bungee.  I believe pro laces are about 8" on slack from the toe bridge 

I would highly recommend it.  Keeps everything tight and in place.  Really snugs up the RGT

Unreal... Curious to see how skates until they lose their edge.

But so far, I'm extremely happy with the LS5G steel.  Game changer with the my first venture into a cowlingless skate.  The team I subbed with even commented how great improved my crease movement was.  I got a few "how did you make that save" last night

Will do. I've got 2 skates in with the stock LS1G Steel so I can only imagine how much of an improvement the 5G will be.

I'm very impressed with the skates overall I wish I would have switched to cowlingless earlier.  The 3mm takes some getting used to tho

My new to me X900.  Added the LS5G Steel.  Huge thanks to @Kayen for helping me with the Edmonton Kijiji purchase and shipping
