I didn't even edit it.Website is being stupid and not letting me edit my posts.
Not yet, I''ll need to wait for confirmation from Warrior before I know. I should be receiving that this morning.
Here is a better quality view of my set. Blue/White, blue weave on the sliding surface and on two of the diagonal lines.
The weave for texture will help the graphic pop. Weave on the sliding surface is the only way to go

Very nicely done. I think that's the best use of the stock graphics by far for blocking color zones

Highlight of the day yesterday... Popped into an LHS, the only licensed Warrior rep in town, to see the GT2s. He said they won't have any for 2-3 weeks, which was annoying to say the least.
He then tried telling me about "Differing dates for Canadian and American release." At which point I laughed at him and took him to school on gear... At one point his co-worker starting laughing and said "Maybe he should work here."
Most days when I go to local stores its like:

@TheGoalNet do you have any insider info on whether it is possible to order a different glove from JRZ? For me, the two-piece glove and break is not my preference. (Couldn't edit my original post for some reason)
Yeah...
I contacted them a few months back about gear and the possibility of them doing Bauer clones. They said no to that and no to a 1 piece glove. They did mention that they will be launching a 2nd line in the future.

Knee rolls... Check
Vertical stiching... Sort of check
Retro classic GT2s are some of the best retro options out there right now, although I do wish Warrior used the Bucky color that Brian's and Vaughn use instead of camel.
CW, I didn't mean my comments as a shot at all white pads. My last three sets have been some variation on stock white and I'm personally eager for a change. Also damn near the entire pad wall at the store I work at is white. We got some all black EF4.9s in last week and people haven't been able to keep their hands off them. I think the market is moving darker.
None taken... I've been black based my last 3:

Is the tan clarino new? I think grey was the only option when I ordered.
Yes... Brand spankin new for Passau

@coopaloop1234 and I have discussed the GT2 graphics ad nauseam... I'm in the same boat as him... although I don't have regular team or uni's... But this is what I've designed so far @Puckstopper I completely am thinking of going back to a "boring" white based set:
And as always part of me would love to go retro but am unwilling to make the leap:

With the few sets on the shelf at THS. A white base with a coloured outer roll and a coloured accent graphics (like the promo ones) look great. Issue being is that you need to almost jump feet first into a solid colour base with a few coloured accents to make it work.
Ya... The calling card for Warrior Graphics (especially the GT1 and the G4) was the versatility to create designs within the graphics...

So got to check out the gear in person yesterday.
Everything looks pretty nice. Glove is a departure from the GT1, but it's not too bad. It's like a child of the G4 and GT1 really. I really wish it would be possible to try a 60 and 90 degree variant of this glove instead of the stock 75, but even the 75 felt pretty good.
The binding on the knee stack is definitely a talking point. It's a lot better than what was on the G4. GT2 has it recessed and double stitched, but I do believe that we'll see a return to a bindingless design soon (or an alternative landing surface).
Hypercomp has the thighrise feeling nice an stiff. I did the bend test with the GT2 and the GT1 and the difference was quite noticeable. You're not going to get as stiff as the Bauer lines, but it's a good improvement.
My one and only major gripe with the line is the lackluster graphic. Cutting 1/3 of the pad into one colour like that really feels limiting from a design standpoint.
Agreed on the graphic (we've spoke about this at length)... I'm very curious to see what the retailers have cooked up in terms of their stock graphics as well... I'm really finding it next to impossible to create a graphic that rivals the GT1 set up I have now.

I see that it is an option in the goaliemonkey one now. I was looking at the customizer on the warrior website and it doesn't have the painted base option.
Its hidden. Click the drop down box that says Carbon and it'll give you paint and all the subsequent color options.
@Kirk3190 I'm free to join Warrior at any time... My fanboy status must look good on a resume!!!

Not having white (or a very light grey) as a base color for the custom sticks is a bit frustrating. The darker colors that I like for the rest of my gear just don't go well with the black or dark grey base and those are the only two options.
They do offer painted bases you just have to switch it in the customizer. As @Kirk3190 mentioned previously a painted base will add additional weight to your stick
