  1. Campbell in true one piece skates. Previously in true two piece. Also using a HL2 stick instead of V2. Still rocking the mach skinned set with 2s pro thin tee glove, ultrasonic blocker, and thick shin HL2 pads
  2. If you like Brian's I highly recommend sticking with them. No other brand is going to truly capture the same feel and another step further, if you like the original Gnetik Pro you can ask Brian's to make you a brand new one (possibly even with the boa system). Sometimes you simply can't leave that one special glove. For me and @coopaloop1234 thats the warrior glove. For many it's a Lefevre built 580. For you it may be Gnetik
  3. The only reason they say this is because the pocket on gnetik isn't as vertical as most 590s
  4. Very different. Gnetik is meant to be a 590 style glove
  5. I went straight to a main camp with mine a couple days after I took it out of the box. No break in needed @IpaddyTECH just a heads up Warrior gloves aren't meant to have their tee flattened like most other gloves. This is roughly the shape to go for
  6. I honestly don't hate the graphic. Strange that they stuck with the outer binding on the pads though. The blocker looks mostly unchanged which is very good since Mach was near perfect. Glove looks like it may have also had some reshaping to make it more of a 600 like the ultrasonic and 2s pro most of the NHL bauer guys are using.
  7. Usually Goalieparts.com has some larger clips. I remember I had to get some for my Bauer when I switched to their heavy duty straight bar cage
  8. Oettinger back in a Vaughn chest after a season or 2 with Brian's Wedgewood mix and matching using a Vapor 90 with PX3 set
  9. Dudo just reminded me that this is the GSX graphic
  10. I feel warrior gloves have a structured enough break that you can close it however you want which makes them pretty unique. By structured I mean it's very very hard to break a warrior glove in incorrectly to the point it won't shut fully like a 600, SLR2 (and 3), optik series, supreme series, and hyperlite 1
  11. And that's the weird part I hated Mach since the pocket was so upright but the break wasn't bad. Definitely prefer 590 shaped gloves and I guess warrior (and vapor 90) is an outlier for me
  12. I think I'll get at 60 degree palm to try since most of the gloves I prefer now are 60 degree. I've been using 90 since I had a G3 glove and never had a reason to change. Wish I hadn't ordered a Pro palm in my HL2 I'd probably like it more
  13. Wish I could've warned you those weren't NHL pants. Saw those at my current local monkey sports and even though they're definitely better than retail models their still not quite HPG14 pants
  14. Never used a 60 degree palm but always been curious. I've always had 90 degree palms because I hated the feel of the stock 75 degree.
  15. Looks pretty standard to me. I've had that on every pad with an outer roll so not surprised
  16. Because bauer color zones suck and if he matched the color zones to the pads and blocker the palm and tee would've been red which a lot of guys aren't a fan of. EDIT: I missed @coopaloop1234 other reply and he's correct. Got my color zones mixed up on Mach.
  17. Completely agree. The only gloves to come close has been ccm 581 and 591. Their strapping system is very nice and comfy but unfortunately has been attached to an awful glove. Hopefully XF fixes that
  18. Kask's set has no speedskin on the inside edge as well. So far all signs point to CCM abandoning speedskin on the sliding surface.
  19. Finally took a shot off the V10 knee pads today and happy to report minor bruising. Normally I wouldn't be happy about this but it was off a one timer and the same one timer put a dent in the middle of my V3 paddle.
  20. A nice reminder that a graphic designed to look like a hockey stick is somehow better than V10
  21. Hyperlite 1 and 2 are very flexible stock pads although they are uniquely springy
