I'll see about rounding up some nylon and maybe talk to some guys at Home Depot about adhesives this weekend and consult with my friend once he's back to work on Monday. You guys are the best @SaveByRichter35 and @bunnyman666, thanks. This bums me out so bad, it sucks.

I scored a patch kit, a 2 yard sheet of navy nylon, and some hook needles. Now I just need to find the right human to do the job. Unfortunately, they don't do repairs there at the shop. The guy there said "this is a completely tricky, skilled hand sewing job but totally doable."

That being said, I have all the confidence you can find someone to do it for a six pack or a bit more.
seagoal
Well @bunnyman666, I really apprciate that would-be offer from afar, my friend. However, my buddy came through for me like a champ and it costed me 2 6 packs and a bottle of wine....well, that's what I paid him on my own. I am also taking him out for poutine this week at the local hockey bar. So, after acquiring a sheet of navy nylon, some hook needles, and some adhesive for fabrics, here are the pics of the repair. First was the patch then the cover of the section over the patch. I am off to pick them up now and head to a game so I'll see them in person soon, but so far I am totally pleased. And my Pro Laces should arrive this coming week as well so this will never happen again.
