Cages that fit Warrior R/F1 Senior+ Mask

Just picked up a Senior Medium/Large Warrior R/F1 Senior+ Mask, and I prefer having a certified cat-eye on my masks, so I was wondering if anyone knows which cages will fit it? I know https://goalieparts.com sells cages. But I’m not sure which will fit it since they don’t sell certified cat-eyes.

i have a feeling a ccm would fit just by the look of it but my idea would be to buy one or some and return them if they dont

Guardian Angel Cages (he's on Facebook only I think, no website) just came out with a cateye for the Warrior mask. He may be able to make a certified style for you (albeit without any certification).

I’ll definitely check him out then, do you know if he does powercoating and painting for the cage as well?

I wouldnt recommend putting on a different companies cage on a different mask unless the company makes it for the mask. Just what I've heard

I’m probably going to get a custom made cage instead, so it fits properly

ive seen many people do it and i have myself and nothing went wrong

i dont but i have a guy that can make one. you have to send him your mask. its expensive but he does a good job

Would he be able to powdercoat and paint it?

Would you think a wall goalie cage would fit on it? The general shape seems to be similar

No updates, I just left it unpainted, I think a wall or CCM cage might work, if not you could always return it

I should be able to test fit them both today if work isn’t busy. I’ll be sure to let y’all know if I do.

I can now officially confirm that ccm cages do in fact fit on warrior goalie masks. When I get my R/F1 I'll be putting a certified cat eye on it for the extra style points and since I can't wear a pro cat eye in my league.

This is a great thing to know. Whilst I am not in the market for a mask at this point, I always worry about compatibility, especially if one needs an emergency replacement cage. I won’t play in a bent cage as that next shot could be dangerous. You never know- I could go to Diluted Hockey and fall in love with the Warrior mask. Warrior tends to underwhelm me until I take a closer look at their stuff.

There are no style points for a certified cateye cage.  You lose points for those ugly things.
