A rare, first production 1991 CSA certified Armadilla. This mask came from the original maker Don Straus personal collection. Comes with all original paint, certified cage, decals, foam, rubber trim, straps, Armadilla mask bag and even Don's personalized signature on the backplate. This mask is in mint condition in every aspect inside and out.

I think the cheapest I've seen one go for is high hundreds. i believe that had the foam replaced with rubatex and was far from mint. 

This one looks unused. Double ear vents too. So, so rare. This mask would top my list for sure. But I don't have $6k

i've never really looked this closely at an Armadilla, but this is a really ingenious way to run the chin strap through the mask and as to minimize the hardware needed on the inside of the mask (so that it is as safe as possible).  I do recall how he would never/rarely have padding on the ears.  pretty interesting.  Simple is often the best solution.  today's mask makers should take note.

I'm guessing someone is going to grab this as a collector's item, but try finding a goalie that ever received a concussion or any sort of injury while wearing this mask. The guys that wore them never went back to the mainstream style.

A lot of people have inquired about the mask but know one has pulled the trigger yet.
