  1. Working in supply chain, let me tell you, the issues you're facing with your delays at Warrior are incredibly common that it's a general rule to wait an additional week for in stock items. Let alone anything being manufactured. I feel for you guys, but I wouldn't hold your breath for getting your gear on time.

Laces. Did screws on my first set and it tore up the cowling on my skates. Mostly cosmetic though. Laces will avoid that and hold in place just fine. I used a lighter to "melt" the knot together once to help secure it. No clue if i did anything of value by doing so, but the placebo was enough for me.

Toe strapping system will be the same as the G3, GT1, G4, and GT2 lines. It's the same ARS straps that do quite well. Attaching Pro Laces to them is fairly easy as I've done that to both my GT1 and GT2 sets. The ARS that come with the pads are great though, but they can feel snug in comparison. Prolaces does relive almost any tension you'd feel.
  4. I think it's relative to where you live. Here in Canada, only a few rinks are allowing people on under strict rules: - No dressing room acces - No showers - No public - 5 limited on the ice at a time - Minor league associations only (for now). the ASHL which is the largest private beer league organization in Canada is pretty much shut down for the summer for now. With how much of a mess Ontario and Quebec are compared to the rest of Canada, it'll be a while before they open too. It's weird seeing the USA open everything up in comparison though. Canada has had less confirmed Covid cases than the US has had in deaths from the virus (91,000 Vs. 100,000+). I am jealous that you guys are getting ice, but I feel like who's arenas should be opening is the complete opposite.
  5. Because they got upset when we tried "Full Wrong"
  6. It's what the internet was created for. Al Gore told me so.
  7. Hold on: In case you wanted to know what I was referring to when I mentioned that you said something stupid. It's a stiffer/modernized Eflex pad . I wouldn't be waving the "MOST INNOVATIVE PAD CHANGE EVER" flag lol. Especially as the gloves are identical to past CCM offerings which, in my opinion, CCM is the weakest in. And, in case you missed it, my opinion was based off of the information that was available at the time and my opinion still doesn't stray much. It's still probably a decent pad, but applauding CCM for modernizing their pads with the rest of the group isn't anything really to applaud. But hey, what do I know. I have a pea sized brain right?
  8. Well, since I'm an elitist, y'all are regulars to me.
  9. I don't think any regular beer leaguer is going to come back swinging after all of this.
  10. Now you're just showing off with your open ice times. You're just making the lot of us sad that we're stuck not being able to hit the ice.

They ship their pads via Air. It may not be anywhere near as cheap as intermodal, but it's the only way to ensure that their pads are making it to North America within a reasonable timeframe. This is some first hand knowledge from the goalie manager at THS. I'm sure they're easily able to offset the cost of air freight through the overall larger margins made through manufacturing these overseas.
  12. Vaughn's been trying to bamboozle us forever.
  13. Unless they were never huge fans of CCM gear to begin with. Though you're definitely right about there being a "brand war" when it comes to CCM/Lefebvre fanboys online.
  14. I don't think you need to tell me twice to avoid non-alcoholic beers.
  15. Correct. V1 Pro+ = New Stick V1 Pro = CR1 V1 SR+ = CR2 V1 SR = Cr3 I really hate the naming conventions that brands are starting to implement.
