  2. First of all, I asked you to confirm the allegation, not deny it. So I'm just going to assume you slipped up on your keyboard there with all that "no not me"' Second, what me and my Warrior fanboys do in the barn is none of your business. Though, it can get wild. Why do you think @cwarnar retired? Tuckered the poor guy out.

Because max Aesthetics > Max Performance
  4. I have the 590 glove (60 degree). I've pretty much always used 75 breaks (one55, LT90, GT1, GT2). So it's a big switch up and would probably take me more time to fully get used to it. But the interference with my C/A (GT1) was such a factor that It was very difficult for me to move in. I've got a few more skates lines up and will keep trying them, but I can't say my initial impression was anything short of dissatisfied.
  5. If I had to make a switch, it would probably be Brians. It's too bad I think their blockers aren't great though. I think I'm less picky about leg pads as I am gloves though. Though I assume many of us are?
  6. One of the worst experiences i've had on ice with a new piece(s) of gear. This is also after a month of breaking them in around the house. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the 60 degree break, they interfered with my C/A like crazy. And this is compared to my warrior blocker which I have on the "highest" setting (palm super low). I felt like I had bricks for hands, it was rough. Also, I really did not miss having a wrist strap on my glove. Just seems so constrictive and unnecessary.

Its up to you. If you don't think you can live with the issues you've stated, then there's nothing wrong with returning them and pursuing another set. And don't get tied to one brand. I know it's easy to do as brands/lines attract us initially and familiarity can keep us coming back, but each company does offer a great set of pads and changing it up is always a good thing.
  9. You know the ads are based off of your internet searching right? And yea, mobile for this site is an absolute mess. There's times I have to quote people's posts just to read what they said since the ads seem to want to occupy that space instead.
  10. 0/2 Went to school in Coquitlam / Port Moody. Born in CR, currently live in Slurrey.
  11. Awesome thanks for the info. CCM has really not changed their blocker eh
  12. I had a set of P2's as my first pair and am familiar with the almost non existent leg channel. So the Revokes we're more or less a Premier pad but with a tighter fit? No softer boot or anything?
  13. Got a specialty invite for a stick and puck with goalies. A hell of a lot of rules to follow, but I'm just stoked to strap up again.
  14. They were replaying that on TV on the weekend. Sweet Sweet memories. I don't know much about the Revokes, what were their selling features?
  15. Working in supply chain, let me tell you, the issues you're facing with your delays at Warrior are incredibly common that it's a general rule to wait an additional week for in stock items. Let alone anything being manufactured. I feel for you guys, but I wouldn't hold your breath for getting your gear on time.

Laces. Did screws on my first set and it tore up the cowling on my skates. Mostly cosmetic though. Laces will avoid that and hold in place just fine. I used a lighter to "melt" the knot together once to help secure it. No clue if i did anything of value by doing so, but the placebo was enough for me.
