I get what you are saying. The back edge of the mask behind the ear vents needs to extend just a little lower before the transition angle towards the jaw. The triangle vents always look just a liiiiittle off on these masks. The edges of the vents that are parallel to each other over the ears need to be just a touch longer as well. But still, looks 1000 times better than the round holes. Cage choice is awesome too. I prefer the look of the double bar like you have there.

With those Keneskys.. something as simple as using the words "Roy Tribute" instead of "Revolution" in that same font. As it stands now, it has the appearance of Kenesky making the Revolution line.

Slow progression for me. My off ice workouts have returned to alllllmost normal. The Microfractures in the knee are healing. I have close to full strength back and am squatting with two 50 lb dumbbells. My surgeon has okayed me to skate, but not to play yet, and I won't as it still hurts to kneel on that knee.

I always thought that rule about no goalie skates as a ref was because the referee skate had to allow the puck a chance to pass through it, which with traditional goalie skates was not possible.

Totally. I love being on the ice, and can't wait to get back on. This may sound weird, but I LOVE the feel of the puck hitting me. I remember thinking that exact thing during a practice back when I was 17 as well.

Had that exact thing happen to me, although it was the old school butterfly... was during practice and during power-play practice. A guy who actually made the NHL later, (Jim McKenzie) fell on me... my feet did not release forward and I went sideways... my hip getting WAY too close for comfort to my ankle. I was 17 at the time, and so began my lifetime of knee pain.

Knee scoped 5 times with various things taken out and trimmed each time. Most recent was this past April with the MicroFracturing done. Each time they have gone in, they have seen much old damage to ligaments, but not much they can do unless I freshly injure it. And in the words of one of my surgeons "Glenn, the back side of your kneecaps are a fucking mess" Cracked jaw on several occasions from the old CCM Helmet and Cage, and from Cooper HM50 cage Forehead split open needing stitches from pressure cuts of head shots 6 times. Have been knocked out cold 10+ times that I know of, numerous Concussions as a result (I never used to duck, used to just let the puck hit me in the head) Partially torn hamstring. Have broken every finger, some numerous times. The attached photo was when the cage of my VanVelden mask collapsed from a shot. That eye still does not open all the way, and that was back in 1994!

HAHAHA, yup, Victoria BC. Living over here in Paradise on the Island while Coop deals with the Lower Mainland mayhem... takes him 45 minutes to drive to the rink that is 8 blocks from his house. I miss the location tag on the profiles too.
