Awesome, glad to hear it has held up!

I used this shirt for the first time tonight and enjoyed it! it definitely took a few minutes to adjust to something being attached to my base layer, but didn’t notice it after a while. Will be sticking with this moving forward, or at least for my higher level skates.

How did the extra slack in the bungee setup go?

How to deal with a frustrating loss?
creasecollector replied to 35RoloSmith41's topic in Health + Fitness + Training
It happens. Just try and put it behind you. This is the time of year when the tough losses round up (playoffs, etc). -
I always leave mine on with no issues.

Sammy's green setup from last night's ST. Patty's game

Do you air-dry it by leaving it out of the bag or do you have a storage setup you use to dry things quicker before re-packing your bag?
-
Saw a similar closet organizer on Amazon. I've always wanted one. they look so good. Well done!

Reviving this thread in case anyone else has their gear storage setup they'd like to share with everyone. I'll be moving in a few months and need to decide on a storage setup. Currently in involved the floor and some fans, lol.

What solution do you use for spraying gear?
creasecollector replied to OldSchoolGoalie's topic in Gear
I've always wanted to try and mix my own solution to save some $$$. And yes, drying is of course so key. When I move soon I will get my own gear 'closet', so I am already thinking of ways I can configire this space. I was thinking more fans. We should revive the gear storage thread that I beleive we had in these forums. -
Awesome. Yeah I think it's the best of both worlds for me. I should add some knots instead of a single lace setup to make it more durable, but it worlks for now.
-
To give yourself some distance between you and the stiff elastics, you can add some slack like I did with my Pro Laces.
-
I also recently gathered some Bauer Vapor elastic straps (which I modded with a needle and thread) to put on my CCM Premier 1 pads. I have since removed them since the straps length turned out to be a little too short and thus too tight (maybe I just need to break the elastics in more and I wasn’t used to the tightness yet), but it’s something a may go back to. I have since switched back to my white CCM elastic straps that came with the pads since were in the playoffs now. During the one shinny skate I used these in, this setup provided me with more pad lift due to the shorter, tighter elastic strapping in the calf area. (Plus I like the look of the blue straps)

Enjoy everything you'll given to the game. The memories will last forever.

How did it go?

If Lundqvist was still in the NHL, that looks like something he'd wear. NIce design.

What's old is now new again. Nice job!

What solution do you use for spraying gear?

I use Captodor. I really like it! Been using it for years now and my gear still smells fine. Spray it down after every skate. -
Great job already! CCM's are always tough to break in.
-
Now that's a nice looking glove. Awesome! Let us know how the break-in process goes. Which methods do you try?
-
Worth it. Kept your team in it

Anyone have any reviews on the most recent Bauer elite padded shirt? From past reviews I will be pulling the trigger on one. Anyone know how well they hold up long term?
-
Ah, the good ol' days are trying to get that sweet S curve on your pads. Here's TGN's IG post about Quick taping his thighrise down to help break in his new pads: https://www.instagram.com/thegoalnet/p/C4PNu4HtfWD/?hl=en
