  1. 6 months? What!? How much they hurt the pocket on those? Trav said 2k are they way less?
  2. I don't find myself getting hit in the mask alot. I might have had 1 dent in 8 years. I play twice a week all year for at least the last 5 years. I don't get hit that often.
  3. @BadAngle41 My 2x size 6.5 with Step Steel 4MM come to 812g My custom AS3, believe they are size 6 with step steel 4mm come to 910g Had to weight my Axis 26 stick, came to 738g
  4. @BadAngle41 good stuff there buddy. I'll have to weight my 2x vs the custom AS3. I see that scuff off the 2x is a real issue, with mine as well.
  5. First time going cowingless on my 2x but it wasn't the right fit for me, other then that I liked them but recently went full ccm custom. It does have a different feel, I felt taller on my 2x, has more of a power feel but I'm happy with my ccms as well due to fit. Took a few skates getting used too.
  6. Let me know when that's happening I got 3mm step steel if you're interested.
  7. My ccm sticks held up great still. The p2 and eflex4, over a year twice a week. No problems, some paint chips but nothing crazy.
  8. Well, I could have BUT I like the square toe and found this for 250 Canadian. My team colours going navy too so it was a win win, plus remember I just got a gold set? Few days ago sold my used P2 and Eflex4 so I needed a stick lol
  9. I thought they would right, a pro goalie shop lol and went for fixing at another ahhhh I think with regular steel you're fine, or at least I hope. These are black.
  10. Pure pure gold, pics do no justice it looks unreal. They have antique gold as well but went with these and glad I did. The other gold looks more bronze to me. I had a few ice sessions, definitely feel stiffer than the P2, will take time getting used too, just loved those P2s so much. Rebounds are harder. Love the game ready glove it's a first vs the pro, and pucks fly off the blocker. Slides better too. Pad seems to sit a little higher, going to try loose everything as much as I can. They are 33 plus 1.5. Funny thing is that I got my new skates on the ice with these for the first time, they screwed up my first sharp because the black steel coating was on and I was sliding, went to another shop and they didn't fix it lol I had 2 uncomfortable games so Friday now will be good.
  11. That's great man, I wonder how different everything is compare to the P2 and dialing everything in to my liking. I'm dying though my set isn't in yet lol.
  12. Protection wise it doesn't bother me, I think the other tongue had D30 foam, it's the volume for sure, I need the room. They give you different options vs player skates. These are off the Ribcore skate. How are your pads treating you do far?
  13. Very sexy brother, need those colours now for my net set lol but I enjoyed the EF4 a lot more. I'll probably purchase an Axis stick though very soon.
  14. As everyone was changing CCM wasn't, they were behind. The Premier must have been the worse pad to come out in the new era of gear, heavy AF! They did an incredible job on the P2, my favorite set probably. Can't wait for my Axis to come, the difference in weight now is minimal I think between brands.
