  1. From what I remember the last few years they were always late in doing custom sticks. Not sure why. I also wanted a few but then good thing I didn't because they don't break on me so easily so every season I'll buy a new stick. How is the eflex5 stick? I was impressed by the 4.
  2. The Bauer Supreme like (pro) look like an upgrade from years past, looks beefy, different materials, and $130 Canadian near my house yay lol. The Elite Vapor like, look alot smaller vompare with a more round and bigger knee protection. The materials on the outside look a like from both.
  3. Anyone had the chance to try on the chesty? It looks promising from videos. Just wondering if I will get the same coverage from my premiers.
  4. I guess so, all I'm saying is that Bauer never priced there guards over 100
  5. I only liked the yellow Supremes and was lucky enough to find another pair. Over the years I didn't like the updated versions, gave me issues. But cost seemed to go up almost 50% now, it's ridiculous.
  6. I just sort of noticed this, and I believe that I have the bump on my left foot and got it from my Bauers 2x. The left skate though fitted better than the right one. This might be Haglunds though and not the bauer bump, it's at the back. Not a big noticeable bump, just pain when running, and can feel it at times. Anyone else treating? What are you doing? I can usually feel it more when I'm running, discomfort and pain. I just didn't think it was a big deal. Now it's pissing me off.
  7. $150? Are they nuts? Plus tax 170 here. What in the F! I was thinking of paw customs and it's basically in this price point. Bauer is just something else these days.
  8. It was a joke lol but hey, it's not new to him. The Habs can't score either
  9. Carey Price coming soon to the rescue haha
  10. Aleve is the best thing ever made for back pain, pop 2 pills and you're have a bottle at home.
  11. Good advise, taking some of my notes I see lol just kidding!
  12. I think it's called paying attention to detail, the guy wants reviews on people who used the gear. Not, buy my gear blah blah blah. Your McDonald's is your choice since you ate plenty so it's irrelevant. Stick to the topic
  13. Guy wants review on gear from others, not the company's encouragement to buying
  14. The band Crazytown, remember the song Butterfly.
  15. No haha but all I see is my baby face in this picture and I'm 39 I've gotten Mr Shifty in my early days, that's where the name is from, the spiked hair etc.
  16. My advice, don't do it.
  17. Lol give it a try first, it looks promising. Like @southpawtendy48 I was thinking of ordering paw but might give these a shot. My favorite guards were the original yellow Supremes, on my 2nd pair now.
  18. Interesting, the 1X from pictures look bulky, hopefully that doesn't interfere with your pad. I just wear socks over the guards like you.
  19. I think that give or take a year after launch you will be able to get 60 to 70 percent back of what you paid, within reasons I'd day, and if you're lucky, a little more. I keep my equipment in great shape, and was able to get some money back for my used equipment, more for others. My hardest sell was my P1 pads, no one wanted those damn pads, I hated them myself. After trying to sell them for maybe a year I had a newb buy them, sadly for him they were no good either in the end and I found them back on kijiji, poor guy. My 11K skates were a tough sell, and even my Vapor 2x skates, took some time. Used sticks are a hard sell as well, you will be lucky to get back 50% I find, but was able to sell my used P2 and EF4 sticks. It all depends on the market and what they are looking for, I was called names for asking too much money, just because some guys live on the internet to make fun of people selling, maybe because they are jealous they can't afford things? Not sure. A guy was hunting me for a few years, sending me marketing websites on selling lol in the end I did pretty good though, just know that some stuff will take time to sell, not everyone wants it. Just the sad reality. In the end of it all over the years I was able to sell, 2 sets, 2 skates, 2 chesties, knee guards, 6 sticks, some new and some used, Bauer 960 xpm helmet.
  20. If at home, twice bake lol I have one that before
  21. In 10 years I have taken 1 or 2 pucks of the knees, but, the paw knee guards look interesting to me. At 150 Canadian it's not cheap. Anyone else using it? Pros, cons?
  22. Hey man, I hit the ice with mine in the summer, I just got the regular spec, no extra jell, and didn't get extra height in the neck area, I hate the feeling like I'm going to choke or something. It's a nice piece, very well put together. Shipping was pretty fast, and I don't wear it very tight.
