In my eyes the double tee being stock on every glove feels like a very new thing. It wasn’t long ago that every glove on the shelf was single tee.

Notice how it doesn’t say “preferred” or “exclusive” meaning McKenney has the rights to show their equipment and name in the AHL but doesn’t necessarily require goalies to wear it. Super risky move for a smaller brand like them with very few goalies in their equipment

I always thought of boddam as a controversial brand but I don’t think they’ve had any issues directly with other manufacturers over copying specs and graphics. Just those of us who think graphics should belong to the brands.

Can confirm I wear between a size 7 and 13 youth skate as well as size 8 konekts.

I strap super tight so I’m not too concerned. Funny that mine was the right skate too.

Had the same problem at first but haven’t had an issue with it popping out during use. It’s not necessarily a durability problem since nothing broke but definitely an interesting design choice. It’s due to the fact these lower straps use cables with metal ends compared to the original sample with metal the whole way through the strap.

I was just about to come and say the same thing. Even after just 3 skates sliding feels much easier than the first few sessions. I still get caught on snow from time to time since the seal on the pads is so good that it just pushes the snow.

I disagree. Having that “spring” in the back of the skate makes my pushes feel even better than the trues

First on ice use in the books. This chest is everything I ever wanted out of it and more. Still need to do a couple elastic strap adjustments in the arms but it’s perfect otherwise. It absorbs pucks like a bauer and looks just as big as a warrior should all while being even easier to move in than the hyperlite.

Any thus concludes the project. As far as initial impressions go this thing is unbelievably heavy but should maintain that Warrior shape and definitely maintained that arm flexibility. Having the Bauer torso already makes it much easier to move in. If you have any questions or want to see any specific pictures of the chest please ask!

One quick trip to Joann’s later and it’s almost ready. Just need to put the other arm on and this monstrosity is all set.
