Betting it means they raised the heel so it doesn't feel as flat out of the box Shadow chest also looked near identical to Mach imo @pfeiffjay54
-
He's back and in his usual US set skinned as Mach It would be pretty hard to spot it. From my understanding the backhand is the exact same as Mach
-
Judging by the description it is in fact a 580 style glove which is pretty sweet
-
I completely agree with this as do my goalie coaches. My head coach however can't make up his mind between being annoyed at me for standing up on the post for dead angle shots and telling me that rvh and vh are ruining my game and causing goals
-
Absolutely not (ignoring the fact then they'd be the same colors as the mavericks too). Do we really want another team in the NHL that's just blue and white?
-
I can make that happen
-
Nothing. It's a third line of gloves. There will be no matching pads
-
19.25in
-
Stock G6 had the stiff/medium one piece core option which meant no break but still a little flexible below the knee.
-
I think Warrior may have stopped taking custom orders until G7 is released. The G6 customizer has been completely removed from their site
-
I'm 5'11" and have a 19.25 ftk. Small fits me great! 32+1 Brian's Iconik was spot on for me too Gave the pads and blocker their last try today. The pads just don't move with me like my G6 set and the mach blocker feels a little bottom heavy after using the G6.1 for so long. This set will be up for sale soon

Do not buy a vapor 60 degree glove. They very rarely break in properly and have the tendency to break the center palm plastic just like the original hyperlite. If you like warrior gloves, especially G5, it's very hard to find something similar. I've been struggling with that but have had good luck with G6.0 currently and Gnetik gloves in the past
-
Let us know how it goes! Gnetik is always a hard glove to transition out of
-
I think the chest is still warrior but possibly something unique. The shoulder and elbow floater shape is the same as a Pro+ unit. Also that's a Bauer pants shell. Too loose at the bottom on the left side
-
The shoulder floater break and elbow profile screams warrior. The size however... That's a photo of me in my R/X3 Pro+ EDIT: 100% warrior

At some point very recently saros was experimenting with bauer sticks (via pro stock hockey). The mach stick is the only one of his left. His HL2s and ag5nts skinned as HL2s were gone within an hour. I have one of the machs on order because it should be identical to my ccm pro stocks in height and curve. Seeing these sticks pop up makes me wonder if there's a full saros HL2 set out there somewhere
-
As comfy as the xf bucket is it just isn't visually appealing. I'm sure there's a better reason than that for switching though. Idk go catch him at a morning practice and ask lol

From my understanding E+ is the original warrior style with the segmented thigh and sort of narrow profile (for warriors). Even if you don't necessarily need the Pro protection it's worth the upgrade because of the thicker knee landing foam and the use of Nash on the knee landing to prevent slipping instead of nylon It does take a little bit to break any of the models in but as you use them they will get narrower and the elastic will get softer but not necessarily looser.
-
True but it would have a larger gap of soft foam if it's the soft build
-
As per usual the comments are losing their minds and shitting on bauer quality even though this has only happened to Bauer twice ever at the pro level. I've seen it happen to both ccm and brians in 18u and juniors. The cost of having a flexible boot break is having that gap or soft foam to allow it to bend and not support the face enough

The back of smith's G7 thigh rise is nylon. My G6 is jenpro
-
-
There's no regular jenpro wear on my set anywhere it's just in the weave spots. Really hoping warrior ditches the jenpro on the back of the thigh rise since it seems to cause more wear to the inside top corners than the nylon did
