Carey Price’s crease movement

I noticed he hardly shuffles. I was watching the NHL Muppet Show (as the commenters are Muppets) and they were pointing out all of the goals against the Habs. I notice that he hardly skates to the other side of the crease. He slides over. I only slide when I am already down and either I blocked the shot or my D man blocked it. But I don’t drop just to move to the other side of the net to follow the action. I suppose it must be quicker for him. I only am sliding when down and I am staying down. Of course that is ‘cos it’s getting harder to spring right back up. One of my tricks is to stay down when there is a screen as I can see better down low, being a whole 3’ ish tall when down, and I can see better through a sea of legs rather than a forest of bodies. Sometimes staying down also goads a bad play out of the other team!

Price shuffles all the time.  I think you meant to say Rask instead of Price.  Rask NEVER shuffles.

I guess I don’t pay that much attention to Carey Price, then. Saw all the goals against on the Muppet Show and they only showed him sliding to the other side of the net.  My bad.
