Warrior to the NHL

This past year CCM hasn't promoted guys like markstrom and Demko nearly as much as they had previously which means they've probably given up on that pair and are focusing more on younger talent like Devon Levi.

If CCM's gear contract ends with Markstrom this year that leaves the door open for Warrior to hopefully once again pursue Markstrom. (No idea on the timelines of equipment contracts)

A dated example, but I was a fly on the wall when Jose Theodore switched midseason from Vaughn to Itech. 

They removed him from all promo material pretty quick.

I think it's more that markstorm hasn't been doing all that great and eyes are on Levi but that could be a factor. The struggle will be getting markstrom out of a ccm 580 and into a G7.1

As it stands now any team hiding training camp goalie pictures is suspicious in my eyes.

If i remember correctly, wasn't it Roloson and Tim Thomas who made Warrior rethink making pro gear because of how picky they are- and then the advertising fees put the nails in that coffin

Yup that's correct. But now with the way a lot of pros using pretty standard custom options it should be easier to get someone in warrior

Today I learned warrior protective equipment was used in the league as late as the 2015-2016 season. 

Justin Peters using some Ritual pants at the start of that season (switched to bauer when he was sent down to Hershey later that year)

That's old... I think that is pre 1S when those pads were called OD1N. Fun fact, Peters and I were in a group together back in the day at goalie camp

An X4 Pro neck guard has found its way to the top

I guess this makes sense considering Oettinger was using a maltese/ecopro for a long time

I wear a Maltese and I got to check out the Warrior and the foam is nothing alike. I feel like the Warrior is more like a mask foam or a 3DO. I like how the Maltese just conforms to my throat and clavicles it being gel like padding. Maybe the Warrior feels better when warmed up by the body?

I believe you're correct it does use the same foams as the mask which are very temperature dependent. Either way, the stars warrior rep has some explaining to do

I think he's specifically the goalie rep though. I'm sure guys like Pavelski have someone specific to go to and that's my guess where the neck guard came from
