the more I read this topic, the more I understand that I will not buy Mach. maybe someday if there is a break in the ice or get a spare pair of pads, I use some of Mach's ideas on my 1S
-
I agree with your logic. but my 1S for example has no problems slipping on any ice even though I have elastic toe bindings

Bauer Mach Set - Initial Impressions & Long Term Review
ser33 replied to ZeroGravitas's topic in Reviews
in my experience of using it concurrently for a couple of months, the 1S glided better than the 2X pro. noticeably better it seems to me that Bauer is moving in the direction of more wear resistance of the skin than improved gliding and each subsequent iteration of the skin glides worse -
Maria Mountain did it, I saw it on her YouTube channel

Your fears are valid, at least when it comes to Brians and other pads with a similar design where the cord loops are sewn to the nylon inner lining of the skin. Excessive tension can, if not tear off, at least stretch the loops. At Bauer, although the loops are glued to the soft foam of the skin’s inner lining, they have a length corresponding to the thickness of the cortex in this place and the cord actually does not have such tension, and its excessive tightening cannot ruin the loops

Brians is credited with being the first to mass-produce pads with elastic straps instead of leather, calling them the Brians Smart Strap on the GNetik 4 model, they have evolved and become larger and wider. the photo below shows that the JRZ strapping systems are almost identical to Brians and I think this system is the simplest and most convenient

because Igor's better? ahaha

As far as I remember in the regular season, the Rangers won every match against Tampa. in any case, these are my two favorite teams and the conference final will be of particular interest to me
-
Shesterkin was great, Tampa is not a cakewalk like Florida was.

looks fantastic

Igor has a lot of playoff experience and if his team helps him he will be fine. in any case, we will see an impressive duel between the two best goalkeepers. I hope

2022 Bauer Mystery Skate - Konekt Goalie Skate
ser33 replied to TheGoalNet's topic in Skates + Holders + Steel
be careful, you're talking to Bauer's main hater -
since ilyazhito also referred to my experience in his words, I believe that I should contribute my 5 kopecks it's funny (not) to see how several people in an argument pounce on one and all their arguments boil down to "you don't understand anything" and no proof that he was wrong ArdeFIN has already confirmed above and based on my experience I fully agree with him that Lefevre's gloves are terrible to close and this is a design issue. all the evidence of our words is in the topics of ArdeFIN. I highly recommend you read them carefully.

great idea!

The S1 blocker is also the heaviest of all that I had. but this is not surprising, knowing the design of his board

your glove looks like it had a lot of ice my low end Reebok XLT24 glove after a full three years of constant use I am by no means saying something bad about your glove, but I was surprised by so much wear in just one year

this is where my irony was directed with all due respect to Bobrovsky, who has shown an excellent game lately

this is very sad news for me. Bunny talked to me a lot and no matter what, it was nice

Brians and Vaughn use the same slide material. and this material is the second after Bauer. Gnetik will definitely be softer than Optics and judging by your preferences, you will not like it. after owning the Opt1k, which I consider to be one of the best pads in the class, I switched to Bauer looking for more rigidity and now there is no other manufacturer for me. as for gloves, again, in my experience, Bauer will be nicer than Lefevre regardless of his manufacturer (True or CCM)

it was funny Ovechkin after losing in the first round: "We were all at fault, but we played against the best team in the league" Result - "best team in the league" 0 - Tampa 4 Can anyone explain to me why Tampa's first two goals were cancelled?
