PJ is one of the few 90's bands i never saw in person.. i did go to a Dave Abbruzzese drum clinic around 95.. he seemed pretty cool.

Seagoal I'm happy for you and jealous too. So cool to be getting a team and everything else that goes with it.. i was down here for every Thrasher season except for the 1st. Use to love watching on tv WUPA 69 just as much as attending in person. Maybe a little more.. more intimate. And going to free practices was really cool. Milan Hnilicka , Damion Rhodes and Norm Maracle were the first goalies i watched then came so many others Kari Lehtonen and Johan Hedberg were the longest staying duo. Its heartbreaking when a team moves away.

had the skates sharpened 1/2" and baked Tuesday afternoon and used them today at a pickup game. Wow! what a difference .. they feel incredibly good. It felt weird skating for about 5 minutes .. almost took a tumble off an outside edge but once we started the game they felt so good.. couldn't believe how much easier it was to get an edge to bite doing butterfly slides.. literally couldn't do them in the Bauer's. These skates are lighter than the Bauer's too. No aches or pains afterward.. very happy with these.

Seems like buyers expect to pay near to nothing.. even if the piece is brand new. I did sell some pants the other day.. and Sideline Swap was really a breeze to work with. Them taking care of the shipping hassles is worth it to me.

Well reading through the thread (how about that) i saw SaveByRichter doesn't.. just a sleeve.. i don't wear them but then again i don't play anything high level. Sometimes some hard shooters show up but not too regularly. Around 2003 i took 2 shots in different games right to the knee when i was wearing some Brown pads .. no thigh guards or anything and it hurt so bad... My pads now Itech/JRZ 11.8 XWings have me covered so good.. i love the pads.

Are there any goalies that don't wear knee pads anymore under their leg pads ... Pro ,Semi Pro, beer leaguers?

There are 5 rinks here. 3 offer pick up game sessions. 1 of the three stopped the skates while the other 2 kept them going. So basically i never stopped playing throughout this pandemic. 1 of the rinks now doesn't even care if you wear a paper mask or not. Is anyone here undecided about getting the shot?

I hate to say hoping they fit better then what I have now .. unless i fly yo a superstore i can't try things on. Only shop here in Atlanta has such a small selection.. i think they have maybe 2 models on display.. if they don't feel right when I get them I'll have to send them back.

Hey guys.. i bought the CCM 6092's from GMonkey at the clearance price.. 66% off.. hoping they will fit better that the Bauer 4000's I'm using now that never felt right. Anyway is it best to bake before using them? I searched. Thanks in advance.

Looks good! Like the logo. I thought it kinda looked like a mad seahorse at first .. It does remind me of these a little bit but so what..

I still think there should be a shoot out/penalty shot line added to the layout. It could be 8ft wide and placed 4ft from the blue paint or somewhere within or beyond Wave off if crossed. And ban the lacrosse goal.

I had a red black n white Boddam glove for awhile.. huge frying pan.. worked well though

Bauer Reactor 4000 skates. I bought them lightly used... maybe 1 or 2 times by previous owner. They either feel ok or like shit. Don't know what to expect whenever i put them on. TPS Summit red n black 32" pads. Sold those quick.
