A little late I suppose but anybody have pics of the winter classic gear?

I had a set of cordura faced pads some years ago. Red CM7 miller 32" pads. Deadest rebounds ever. There might be a picture of them in the classic gear thread. Actually knee rolls and outside rolls were white leather and everything else was the red material. They weighed a ton.

So the NHL is canceling all games tomorrow thru Saturday? Crazy.

The green looks cool. I wonder if there is a player version. It's kind of hard to vision a player being able to use something like this though

I looked up who she is. Leah Hextall? It says her grandfather is Bryan Hextall and cousin is Ron Hextall. Not sure how all this ties together because isn't Bryan Hextall Jr Ron's father and if that's the case wouldn't that make Ron her brother? Ah forget it my head hurts.

They're my all time fav.. last time I saw them live was summer 2019 before the kung flu. The only thing that sucked was that they opened for Deep Purple and didn't get the full PA output. Couldn't really here Scott Travis' snare etc ... I was kinda bummed about it but it was still bad ass.

Has anyone tried playing while experiencing knee or elbow bursitis? I have it on my right elbow now. It happened at home but it was very painful. There's no swelling or redness but I still feel it. Couldn't imagine playing through that on a knee.

Great post above ^ ... I still like watching pro. What gets me in the highlight reels is that everybody is a sniper now and the amount of lucky redirects in front of the net is ridiculous. I almost hate how all positions are scientifically thought and played out. I've had thoughts about the NHL secretly testing different rubber compounds to see which formula works best with new sling shot stick technology .. NHL pucks sure seem bouncy these days. Oh and I hate the helmet ads

NBC's games were always the same 4 or 5 teams every time they would show one unless it was a playoff game. Wierd how probably the best sport on the planet gets the least viewership.

whatever you get most likely will be replaced by something else you want to try. It kind of sucks buying used but it might be beneficial in the long run .. get comfortable skates and a good mask too. So many things to get right with this position. I guess that's why we love it .

Read an article about a team going back to Quebec or Hamilton and that the Coyotes are on the chopping block. It's surprising they have lasted as long as they have. There use to be a member on GSBB that lived there and had more insight on the team.
