it was painful while doing the slow glide to the corner hunched over on the knees i think we all can relate. After the sting wore off it was ok. Ice is our friend for sure. Worked wonders with this. funny story thanks for sharing and that dent is brutal! I'll tell you guys, we hear a blocker is a blocker is a blocker a lot but take a good one to the fingers and that all goes out the window. Granted it was a weird shot that seemed like it curved just a little to the right if that's possible and found a hole maybe my luck ran out.

Tonight, I had a one timer direct hit to the thumb of my blocker. It happened so fast. Was afraid of what I might find inside but nothing too bad. Lots of blood but after we taped it up it stopped. Sore and swollen now with thumbnail turning black. I was wearing the CCM E3.5 blocker maybe time for an upgrade.

I don't mean to sound off like a dick or anything it's just frustrating. I echo what Matt said, I love it when they do try to help. When defense is played well it's a thing of beauty to watch.

Is there a reasonable way to tell your D men to stop screening and redirecting shots into the net? I was really thinking about giving them my gloves and stick ... "here, you play goalie!"

Does anyone not spray their stuff with anything for whatever reason?

That Blues gear in earlier post looks too street hockey like and I had a pair of McLean goalie pants for awhile when I was about 4 waist sizes McLeaner. I remember there not being much to them. Padding in them was pretty sparse. A pair of CCM 1.9 pants blows those out of the water as far as padding goes.

Well the story is I was using a hand saw in my right hand while holding the Christmas tree with my left. I was standing and had the teeth of the saw pointed towards my left hand. The saw jumped out of the tree into my finger . I just wanted the trunk of the tree for the fireplace. The pine gives off subtle cracks and pops that's kind of nice to hear. I wouldn't recommend putting the branches into the fireplace. When they ignite they really go up fast. Thanks.

Hey guys thank you, really appreciate all the replies. In my mind it seems like kind of a wussy thing to ask about but man the slightest touch to the cut is like touching a raw nerve. Well it's not that deep but it's cut pretty good. They gave me no stitches or glue just some antibiotics and a tetanus shot. The thing is it's the index finger on my catch hand. Trying to decide whether I should sit out for awhile or not.

The weirdest glove I ever had was when I bought a used Brian's Air Hook. Had a big lump on the palm and would not close. It was useless and I was mad for wasting money on it.
