i agree totally with the Bauer toe cap space, it sucks. My skates have been Bauer, KOHO, back to Bauer and now currently for just about a year CCM Tacks 6092's 7.5 D and couldn't be happier. Stiff but not too stiff and roomy in the toe cap. Perfect for the lower level i play in.

I regret not kicking the shit out of some dumbfuck that sent one off the side of my mask during a warm up. I wasn't even directly behind the net either which made me think it was done on purpose...

Definitely get something for your pads even if second hand from a used sports store. Should be able to find something not too expensive.

Haven't used Roku in awhile.. can't remember if it has apps or not. We have fire sticks and a bunch of apps. One is NHL highlights. I'm not tech savvy but I think there is a way to stream things off your pc.

I know I'm kinda late to the party.. but a lot of what you guys have posted in this thread really hits home. I'm 55 and still play usually once and sometimes a couple times a week. I felt like quitting all together about a week ago but the sting of my performance has kind of subsided and I will probably go back for more .. good thread

I'm just sick of hearing these stories from women's gymnastics to NHL hockey player. The said assaulting individual always seems to get away with it during the commission of the crime. Like the drunk driver that never seems to die. Would be nice to hear a different outcome sometime.

I hate falling into the unfocused mind space. Where I start thinking everybody is looking at me or looking and laughing after soft goals.. that eats me up the most.

So many bad bounce goals in that Canucks Flyers game last night.. and I still don't like shoot outs. Imo there should be a shot line that prevents the skater from getting too close. Take the shot from behind the line .. simple.
