Kova goalie (Varusteverstas) produces this wrist strap for Warrior gloves. I've never used but from what I hear it's working very well in holding hand at place and still not hindering the mobility of the wrist and glove. https://varusteverstas.fi/kauppa/rannekiristys-warrior-rapyloihin/ In finnish but I think there was English pages too.
  3. Not actually my gear but a glove of a local junior, Eflex 4.5jr. Did some team color relacing to the perimeter and skatelace pocket with team colors. Hopefully it cathces even better now.
  4. I tuck with X pro and GT pro and now X Pro with Brown. I've posted some photos here too but don't remember where here. I use the internal belt quite tight with flap as normally it is and no suspenders needed either. I also have Warrior Pro jock that the flap and belt go around and over. It might be a problematic if the jock is pushed off position but for me this setup is working. What I did to the pants was release the flap from the lacing in front of it and tuck the C/A to that gap. Plenty of room and stays there with comfort. I have rubber cords in front and back to attach to C/A to be like suspenders and take the weight away from the internal belt. Half a year now and couldn't be happier.
  5. Are these available to Europe / Finland any time soon or any way? Goalie Monkey has some Aegis but not this one atleast yet. I'm in a road for a new neck guard and Kova is quality choice but I'm always interested to get something other don't have yet. And also the product itself is what I'm looking for, the cut resistance is something I would like to have when playing in beer leaguer / pickup level games where anything can happen.
  6. After ice it's 3,350kg so not that much of added weight from sweat. Pants only got up to 3,3kg Took me a while to get Chenner29 point about the weight. I'm used to put , between digits instead of . which gives sort of trouble at times with computer software etc. And funny setups too. Isn't it sporty to have 6.4tons of gear on and it's not all yet. You should see my skates! Started a topic at mods for this Brownie as there is quite a lot done and might just be interesting for someone... Hopefully I have all the essential photos still available.

Is it only pictorial effect that those silver and purple lines seem to be way off comparing pads to each other?
  9. I just might have enough skill to complete that mission. But I would rather buy a new neckguard readily like that if it was possible. Well CCM is available but I'm not completely happy with that either. Oh well, I do want something like Kova is. That's about it if it's needed I'll add some shirt there.
  10. What I've read and heard here in Finland of people using this Kova neck guard, nobody is complaining about protection or fit. I'd say the stock sizing is already very good for most. And as it's intented to be tight fit around your neck the height shouldn't be extracted up too much. Only wear issues I've seen at the local repairs shop is the neck part rubbing through and mostly in the rear where Velcroes are attached. But the guy at the shop said those units were used a lot by a high level goalies so it is sort if expected to wear out. I'm in a way towards Kova as my Reebok TC Pro is wearing out. Only thing I'm unsure is that I like the shirt style which keeps things at spot. Kova is not offering that but then again, not heard of any issues of Kova to move around the neck.
  11. This is how I tuck with internal belt. The flap is not connected to the front lacing now and chesty tucks to that space between. And stays there with front and rear ties made of rubber cord. C/A makes a sort of suspenders this way. Before Warriors I had CCM Premiers this way but they didn't work as good as this setup. I had that odd feeling of chesty pushing out of pants. Which actually never happened. Axis pants seem to have more waist lift that I think would work well with tucking chesty and using internal belt.
  12. First ice since march and wasn't it nice! Brown felt very. Oh. Well. It didn't actually feel anything. It wasn't really there at all. Didn't get any real test but shot at the elbow floater and no problem there. It's like taylor made and it should be ofcourse. I'm super happy with it now. And only wait for more icetime with it. One more to say, I put it on scale and it's 3,200kg. Exact yes. And exact same weight is my Warrior X Pro pants in XL with Warrior (GT SR) knee pads and shortened CCM socks over them. Weights a lot but then again I can go through that one hour of ice so it's all for sport.
  13. A few days and some adjusting, wearing it on with neckguard, off, with pants, off. I decided to cut the bottom line off, and a half of the next line up to make it clean. And in the same sewing operation moved the clip up one row to get some space between pants. Some rubber cord is to be installed on front of my pants that then attach to that clip. Original loop is too long and positioned too low. And while there, I was to cut and trim the wings on the back part, that are way too long for my skinny body. I first had them inside of those white liners and strapping going over, but the wings are just too thick and felt annoying in there. But then I realised that it would work nicely by just opening up the white liner parts stiching to rib protector, and tuck the end of the wing in between there. This mod is also easily sewn back up if it isn't working afterall as nothing was trimmed yet. Now I just have to get on the ice soon. There's nothing much left to do
  14. Maybe some photos to clarify the mods Behind. Closer and inside. Shoulder and bicep protection Binding system from above.
  15. Thanks, it sure does. And welcome back, it's never too late to return huh? I was looking at your photo and the sleek lookin Brown but I can't stop thinking that those sleeves are short, damn short, tooo short! I've gotten so many pucks to my wrists which is why I look to have sufficient wrap around. Thanks.
  16. While this is an old thread, I just have to share my happiness. I got this unit cheap, it's imported from US/CAN by previous owner. There were some fixes and modifications done already, so I decided to dismantle it and fix/mod it to serve me for some time. Base model JB2000 with no extras. Now it is updated with: Added padding at wrist and outside of bicep Modded elbow floaters closer to elbow and angled inwards a little Shoulder blocks renewed and bicep protectors modified to Brown extra bicep protection style Backpanel, sleeves, front part and floaters tied together with nylon and adjustable Extra heart protection plate Added padding inside at joint between rib protection and frontpanel New strapping, rubbers and velcro where needed I think that was all done for now. We are hopefully getting back on ice in june. Just can't for it....
