    Got to be a wicked feeling winning it in the first season with a new team. 'Grats I can just imagine all the kids waiting in their cars while the dads just pound back a few. Hoisting the trophy as their own accomplishment. There's one guy on your team that looks remotely happy about winning.

    I didn't even edit it.Website is being stupid and not letting me edit my posts. Not yet, I''ll need to wait for confirmation from Warrior before I know. I should be receiving that this morning. Here is a better quality view of my set. Blue/White, blue weave on the sliding surface and on two of the diagonal lines.

    It's either full on colour with a white accent or full on white with a colour accent. The latter just felt like way too much of a stock pad. Definitely an issue when you only have two colours to choose from. Tossing in some blue weave helps break it up too. (i've edited the photo to include a better screenshot of my scheme)

    So not a first hand answer but a guy I know at the hockey shop who's been in every warrior pad since the G1 has said that weave on the sliding surface is almost as comparable as the airslide on the G4. He heavily recommended that when I put in my order to go weave on the sliding surface. So that that as you will.
