I dig it. It takes a lot of cojones to go the ugly for ugly sakes design route. Making a stamp on the goalie market.
  2. I'm excited to try out the weave too. I felt like my GT1 sled pretty well. But that was in comparison to my V4. I do want to try this new "sliding improvements" each company has made.
  3. I'll second this, except the tight strapping.
  4. Nice set. Go for the weave sliding surface?
  5. Excellent. I still can't add more reactions. Haha
  6. 25, Quick. Same as the past 4 warrior sticks I've had, two cr1's (deceased) and two cr2's (alive) This stick probably won't see any use for a while. Gotta wait till one of my current ones break. Just couldn't pass up a 20% off deal.
  7. You can thank @BadAngle41 for me not being able to like your post.
  8. Pretty much. It first cracked sometime last summer from a pretty decent slapshot. Over time the crack has been getting larger and larger as it's been repeatedly abused. It's at the point where there is a noticeable increase in "feel" when I take shots along the break line as well as the loss of a lot of the overall structure of the blocker as it now has a great deal of flexibility due to this crack.
  9. I think you missed the joke. By blocker is essentially split in half. I can actually bend it.
  10. My CR1 would last forever if I played against bendsrss too.
  11. Just for conversations sake, here are my senior GT1's wwlear points in this area after two years of pretty heavy use. Honestly, these pads are holding up a hell of alot better than my glove/blocker. Blocker has split the uhmw and the glove is getting stingers left and right. Granted, I'm playing with ex junior B guys, so I'm not faulting the senior gear for not holding up in that time. Just wanted to showcase the wear I've seen on their senior gear.
  12. Warrior knee stacks aren't that stiff, but they also don't come with almost any padding there. So some sort of knee pad is definitely welcome. Though, the ritual knee guards are crazy comfy around the knee. The set I've been using isn't as padded as the new RX2's, but they're a hell of a lot more comfortable than anything else.
  13. Many tears were shed.
  14. Our sister company is now in the business of "depackaging". They'll take any wheat based products (granola bars, bread, etc) and beverages, crush them, separate them from their packaging and refine them into agriculture feed. Everything they receive is either expired or there is an error in the packaging so a company decides to scrap it instead of sell the item. One of the casualties are the adult pops. I feel bad for the guys working that are forced to dispose of these and can't take them home.
  15. Checked these out in store. They do look like an upgrade from the originals, though not enough of an upgrade to spend the cash on. (especially since I rarely get hit in the knees as is). Though, it is curious that they didn't keep the double velcro ends for more adjustment possibilities.
  16. Thanks mang excited to get it. I'll definitely be whoring out plenty of pictures once it's in.
  17. Went with the 75. 90 is just awful for me and 60 isn't bad but just a bit awkward
  18. Ordered a set or warriors R/GT2 on April 30, got the confirmation date of June 12th. So a lead time of 6 weeks + shipping
  19. Got confirmation of my order. They've given an expected date of June 12th. So ~6 weeks from date of order.
  20. I'll wait a few months for the wheat to grow and mask my movements.
