  1. I removed and replaced and engine and transmission in a 2002 Jeep GC we had. Seeing that Hemi in your GC brings back memories of no space for my arms or hands for two solid days of hell. Funnest time was laying under it using my feet to shimmy the transmission while trying to get the engine back in. Fun as F!
  2. Some from a bit ago. Hip pads on pants had broken lose and three shots hit me on both upper thighs in the same game. Shot of each leg the next morning.
  3. It's more than that... $15k more for the Edge ST to base model. I'm pretty sure the transmission is different too on the ST along with the springs and exhaust. I don't want any Ford Edge myself. But I was just reading about it today in a magazine. Sad that they won't sell the Focus ST anymore. Rad ass car.
  4. With all due respect to the OE VW Transporter - that VW (I think it's called a California) would be quite popular if they sold it in the states. My wife would have one in my driveway. I think it's only sold in Europe. EDIT - that's the electric ride. The California is another vehicle.
  5. You had two of these? How sad is it that they attached such a legendary name to ... that? I like that they added the "cross" to the name. But we all know it will shorten after a while and they'll just call this thing an 'Eclipse'. Then we'll have to tell our kids and their grandkids about the real Eclipse car. We can all agree to not tell them about these turds:

    New Team, Old Gear

Yeah I forget who actually made the gear. I assume it's along the line of Vic gear that was all made by McMartin.

Chevy on the Jets: His later Hespeller gear were works of art. Wow wow wee wow! Then he was traded to the Flyers for Dom Roussel and subsequently sent to the Flyers minors and played at Hershey (while wearing his Jets McMartin gear) Start of the next season, played in 2 games for the Bruins: Had a Detroit era mask made for the Bs, but I don't think it saw NHL game action: Tim last played as a pro in Las Vegas:
  8. Already stopped in Toledo and saw the Gladiators out front. Well, until we were chased off the hill. I plan to trade in my JKU in the next two years for a Gladiator too. Should be a good hockey hauler for the family. Nice to air out my kids gear on the way home from the rink too. Hell, with the roof off - I can air out my kids too.
  9. Like the mall and shopping? It's a new Jeep Cherokee we're talking about.

Jokes like that - in this environment - are illegal with us gear mod addicts. Had me picturing some giant 2 glove combo I could copy. I need all the help I can get.

Chabot played with the Kings before returning to the Habs: Chabot came to the Kings by way of Houston: He went to Houston after a stint with the Habs... dude got around: Houston even made a bobblehead that had his old gear. How great is this? Only $75 on ebay in the box. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-2008-Vintage-Houston-Aeros-AHL-Frederic-Chabot-SGA-Bobblehead-Mint-in-box-/264088173156?oid=253980717313

Another two Flyers vintage: Frederic Chabot was traded to the Flyers 93-94 season: I think this is the only time a Flyers goalie wore D&R equipment. That's a D&R catch glove. Ordered a gem of a set from Brian's: -Just gloves at first: Then pads: Flyers traded for Stephane Beauregard from the Jets in 1992. Krylon pads and new mitts: Then ordered up one of the SHARPEST Flyers gear sets ever: I think the Flyers tried to trade him in February 1993 with no luck... he was dealt at the end of the season.

I'm sure you'll see these guys in new gear in practices in a day or two for sure. Maybe we'll see some rattle can over painting? We should get a poll going...

During the 2006-2007 season Leighton was moved around. Was on the Ducks: After Pre-Season, sent to minors: Called up - had to pass waivers. Didn't - Preds grabbed him Played one period. Waivers after that game, Flyers grabbed him and sent him to minors: Then was called up to the Flyers: Same gear - numerous teams. He did stick around with the Flyers for a run in the spring of 2007. Actually got new gear: Flyers then placed him on waivers and he was claimed by the Canadiens (didn't play): Great looking gear too.

Leighton He didn't get any game action though. So you won't see stats during that time.

Chad 'Suitcase' Johnson. Gary "Suitcase" Smith played for 8 NHL/WHA teams: This makes 8 for Johnson now too. Johnson: Ducks Blues Flames Sabres (2 times - before and after the Flames year) Islanders Bruins Coyotes (2 times - second time was during the summer after the Flames right before free agency. He signed with the Sabres a few days later.) Rangers Johnson was also drafted by the Penguins and traded to the Rangers after he graduated college. So you could say he was on 9 NHL clubs. Fun fact too about Johnson - he's an UFA after this season.

Al Montoya should get all white gear all the time the way he jumps teams. He signs for 2 more years with the Habs - so that means he'll be traded shortly..Here's his Coyotes gear with the Isles in 2011 Rangers gear with Yotes Jets Gear with the Panthers:

Condon with Habs mask and pad wrapped Habs pads:And shortly after with pad wrapped Pens pads after moving to the Sens! Man, Condon jumped quickly for sure. Played a whopping 20 mins with the Pens then traded? So renegade.
