The little maple leafs is a nice touch. The gold Bauer logos will look good with the matching medals as well.

If you follow Kane Van Gate on Instagram he has a nice close up pic...

They are outstanding. I’ve bought a few extras. They are cheap, super comfortable, and dry quickly. I have experienced way better sweat absorption with the 37.5s vs. shams.

That’s what I’ve been reading online. Just ordered one today

***UPDATE - HUGE CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTABOY!!!  I had previously ordered a new jock thru the Hockey Shop Goal in Surrey... they accidentally sent the wrong one.  After sending me a purolator waybill for the return, their online sales rep, Christian, tossed in a 2 pack of the XPM 37.5 sweat bands at no charge.  I've always had great service from them and wanted to share how great they are***

They'll do it.  I was going to do it with my current set of V6 2000s but ended up changing my mind and went with what I have.

Was that direct from Vaughn or via the retailer. I talked to Ev when he was still there and he said no dice.

    That's a terrible graphic.

The part that really bugs me, is that Vaughn is one company that flat out refuses to use any old or retro graphics. I would love a set of new pads with the old V2 swirl graphic.

  5. Thoughts or  reviews on the Bauer 37.5 sweat bands? Currently using original orange sham bands in my Stacey. Possibly looking at making a switch

@cwarnar is correct. Jason just isn't happy with his bindingless blocker. I didn't want blue binding though so sticking with my tradition, I went all white on the face again. I didn't do a blue stripe on face as without logo on it I think it looks odd. The whole idea here is majority white on gloves, and majority blue on pads.

This is my 4th blocker from Jason. Absolutely love the balance of his blockers. I will argue all day long that a blocker isn't just a blocker. Hand placement, rebounds, feel, handling the puck, all of this I have found that this blocker works best for me.

I agree... One thing I will say, Jason makes really nice blocker/glove.  I loved my Liberator model glove he did for me... nearly a Bionic clone

    @daffy - Nice! couple questions...

I notice the glove mostly has NO binding and the blocker has one. Was this on purpose?

Also, love the early commitment to the look. Any reason for no blue stripe on the blocker face?

I don’t wanna speak for Don, but when I ordered my Boddam set 3years ago, Jason hadn’t been able to produce a bindingless blocker

From a marketing standpoint, I feel like Vaughn misses some layups. You have an entirely new glove for the V8E line... SHOW IT!!!

100%... same with not showing anything by the face of the pads

Did they post any pictures of the inner or outer gussets?

Not so far. I think there doing the warrior thing and teasing stuff pic by pic

Just wondering how everyone is strapping their G3/GT?

I’ve only used my RGT’s a couple of times and now may have found the sweet spot. One issue with my first 2 skates were the lack of the knee pads. I struggled with a retailer in getting my laundry bag as mine were a demo set.

Now I go with the sling wrap across the knee.  Boot strap Lundy loop and using the ARS toe straps.  My next skate I may try moving back with the sling wrap back down to the calf.  I did this with my previous Passat set.  I tried it in my first skate but with no knee pads, I had zero pad control and they were way to floppy.

Keep tinkering until you find something that works.

At this time we don't cross graphics over between models.  However, this request is one of the reasons we offer our Classic graphic.  The Classic graphic matches up well between all models so you can mix and match G3/GT and so on.

Awesome. And can you confirm the G4 line will offer classic graphics as well?

One of the ways you can tell if our trappers have a removable liner or not is to see if there is lacing in the palm of the glove. R/G3 has a laceless face and has the removable palm option.  R/GT has lacing in the face and  has a fixed palm.  R/G4 has..... (See teaser pics on @warriorgoalie for the answer! ;)

Thanks for the info Kirk.  Love having you on the board!!!

i think my optimal set up is G4 pads and RGT Gloves. If I decided to go custom ca you guys skin RGT gloves with the G4 graphic?  If not i’ll likely mock up classic sets of each

No Bishop is comparable with a Bauer P31.  If you're looking for Rask pattern your closest match would be Mrazek.

I would recommend it as well.  I loved the Kipper in the Montreal 9000 and the Rask was the same type heel curve.  The Wedge on the Mrazek is even better
