New season's coming next Tuesday and I've pretty much finished all I want to do this season, so I haven't been on much. I played D1 religiously from Taken King through Rise of Iron, went into the first year of Destiny 2 and hated it. Came back for Forsaken and it was really good, switched to PC towards the end of the year. Shadowkeep was OK. This year has been better. They made the base game Free to Play, brought back an old raid (Vault of Glass), and you can work towards unlocking the first Darkness subclass now. I feel like that's every Destiny players take on the game. And 58 days played? That's absurd. I think my last game where I got close to those numbers was when I played WoW back in the BC/WotLK/Cata days. Closest since was For Honor and that was about 13 days played. My most anticipated upcoming game is Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. I freaking loved that game. The combat/archery mechanics were so good and trying to strategize against all the robotic animals and capturing the human camps was so damn fun. Can not wait for the sequel. Immortals: Fenyx Rising was really enjoyable, definitely followed the Ubisoft open world game formula (which I enjoy). Definitely felt overpowered by the end of it though. I heard, leading up to Fenyx Rising, that it was "inspired" by Zelda. But then after playing, it was "inspired" in the same way Battram pads were "inspired" by other companies' graphics. I absolutely loved Fenyx Rising, but it felt like Zelda B a little bit, so I was just a tad derailed the whole time. That said, I'm pre-ordering the sequel in like 2 seconds once it's available.
