Mckenney Gloves

With the great prices on their gear, I'm interesting in eventually getting a full set from Mckenney. I'm curious if anyone has used their recent gloves (or blocker/pads) and has any review or insight on them. I have pants from them that i love, thanks!

Pants and c/a are top notch!

If you do get a set, I would like a very in-depth review (first impressions, on ice use after 1-3 months) please. As you stated, there is barely anything out there for us to read or look up on to make the decision.

If I get one I will, but might be a while longer. Thinking about trying just a blocker/glove set to match my pads just to see. The price is really amazing for fullly custom what they call Pro gear.

The only times I've seen them in person were on high-ish level youth goalies at various tournaments here in Ontario.

I think they supply the AHL too but I don't think anyone is in them (assuming that they can't wear it or would have to cover up if they went to the NHL). Maybe pants/chesty though?

Mckenney keeps dodging this question every time myself or others have asked. While they are able to supply to the AHL I don’t think anyone is wearing any piece of equipment.

They would have to cover up the badging with Padskin or something if they were called up to the NHL, yes.

i just ordered a blocker to match the rest of my gear, i know not the most exciting piece of equipment but we'll see how it goes!

For me, the catch glove makes or breaks a set if I buy the whole kit. That is where I'd start for myself before pulling the trigger all the way. Why I'm big with my Warrior set.

My blocker just came in and it seems really nice. Comfortable and solid protection all around. Super low price for full custom and an accurate 6 week lead time.
