A.YOUNGoalie13
Anyone have a source for the nylon pocket lacing? I hate the skate lace pocket and was looking to just relace it myself and save myself $
Hockey34
I ordered some 275 paracord for my glove from this place https://paracordgalaxy.com/ awhile ago and it’s been great. 275 is smaller than the stuff that the manufacturers use but that’s what Thatcarguy told me to get so that you can see through it better, but if you want the stock size I would go with the 325 or 425 as there both 3mm just different strengths Edited February 14 by Hockey34
IpaddyTECH
https://fixmygear.com/products/braid-nylon-lace-and-needle This is what I used to do my perimeter lacing. The needle was very handy.

I’ll upload a pic in a bit once I’m home
Chenner29
IIRC Sarah at PAW sells it. Not sure on costing, I think she marks it up - but you won't have to buy a huge amount

creasecollector
What don't you like about a skate lace pocket? Just curious.

It cushions the puck too much to where you can’t always feel it in there. With the lace I can really feel pucks snap into the pocket more.
A.YOUNGoalie13
Thank you Joann Fabrics. I swear the weirdest people are always shopping or working here. Guess I fit right in as a backwards goalie. Anyway, got the 550 cord since its a level or 2 above 425. Seems close to what comes from the manufacturer.

Single and Nylon is the way.

I don’t mind that, but the single is still better imo
