I hear they play on frozen sand out there .. I got burned 1 time on a mask deal a long time ago. This guy must've been selling masks from the trunk of his car. Never got my money back. I finally gave up and put it in the hands of karma.

Stackem and coop reminded me how much i hate the punk shootout moves. That needs to be addressed as well. There should be a shot line painted in front of the goalie. Treat it just like offsides if someone crosses it.

Sometimes for whatever reason guys skate around with the tip of their stick blade on top of the puck. Granted I've never seen it used during a real game.

i never liked it .. always looks and feels like cheating. i'd be for banning it.

I placed an order about 3 weeks ago.. I ordered from their website. I don't know about the grips or wrong specs showing up but I did get what I ordered from the website and received a personal email from Rob Laurie to let me know he was out of town when I placed the order and that the sticks were being shipped. That's pretty good service I think. They got here nicely packed. Nice sticks ... super light.

Here's the GDI glove I'm currently using... kinda took a break from playing when i first got it a few years ago .. got it used but really not broke in but remember not liking it too much in the beginning ... felt like i couldn't catch and lots of pop outs but since using it regularly it's so much better and broke in. Pretty heavy by today's standards

Wow .. time capsule?

I played on this really hard ice yesterday and it about sucked! .. no bite at all. That place use to be the best rink to go to but it has really gone downhill over the last few years. They didn't resurface the ice before we went out so i don't know if that was part of the problem but it just felt like crap trying to move around couldn't catch an edge

1/2 on 4mm ... feels weird for a little bit but when they start to get worked in ...they're great! I go to these pick up games and sometimes when were shuffling goalies in and out i'll leave the crease nice and neat then when i get back in it's all chopped up with snow everywhere ...

I posted the Itech X Wings i got a couple pages back ... love em! So weird how they automatically rotate. I've been looking down after flopping to the ice to see what they're doing and they're nicely sealed against the ice every time. It's fun to play in a newer gen pad. Skating with the big knee stacks felt weird at first but not a big deal now it's back to where it was with the old pads.

Thanks guys... I enjoy reading and seeing everybody's equipment here. I envy all you guys that play competitively on teams and stuff. I strapped them on and like what I see in mirror. The thinner size really looks good. I'll try to tell how they feel and will probably have some questions about what to try if they feel off in any specific area. thanks

Ok guys they got here today. My new old stock pads. I got these because up until now I've never had 11" wide pads. Mainly because i don't play in any leagues or anything i just play pick up games. The player turnout is always good .. full benches and they're usually pretty fast paced which makes it more fun. I don't remember seeing a cage fitted on the one in the episode. Wasn't the guy in yhe beginning in a grid cage? Don't have time to watch right now

I'm still using my Fusion GM2000 kevlar reinforced mask i got around 2009 that replaced my eddy gt. I wasn't so sure if i really liked it or not when I first got it but completely happy with it since. I like the shape .. and the triangular vent holes. Don't really want a Worf from Star Trek looking mask. Would like to get it refurbished. Will be contacting them soon about it. I know Toylene [may have spelled wrong] but she still works there since 2011 or longer, but they quickly reply Good masks.
