  1. You're the first person to probably voice how they don't mind them. I'm still in the "it's shit" category. lol I mean: That's another line we haven't heard much of, though less perplexing due to CCM's general fall from grace. Haven't heard/seen anything on that line since August.
  2. That's a custom graphic that's close to the GSX 2. Shadow is a different lay out. I think there's a tie between the 2S and Ultrasonic for the catcher. Pretty sure most guys are using the US blocker with some using Mach. Maybe Sorokin is the only guy still using a 2S blocker. Regardless, even in training camps, AHL, College, Major Junior, etc. Nothing. Just strange that we've seen nothing at any level.
  3. Sure, but we haven't even seen the new glove in action at the NHL level. Even if they are masked as Mach's.
  4. By this point we should have at the very least seen it debut back in September. That's roughly when Vasilevsky first had the Hyperlite 2 graphic.
  5. I'm still confused why we have seen nothing on the Bauer Shadow line. It's very strange
  6. Man, that first summer was so strange, Thankfully we were allowed to use the dressing rooms to get changed but no showers. One rink literally boarded up the showers so people couldn't use them. You'd assume just shutting off water flow would be easier... The hoops we jumped through the first season were hilarious. - Need to wear a mask at all times, except on the ice - Check in with the desk outside, queue in line to be able to get access to the dressing room - 15-20 minutes change room access. No toilet or showers - 4v4, (2) twenty minute periods - Faceoffs had a rule where people weren't allowed to enter the circle, the centers had to battle for possession and pass it out. - No penalties, just penalty shots - Floating blue line (The fucking worst thing in 4v4) - Some refs wouldn't take the puck out of my glove. I had to slide it to them (lol) All of this was so ridiculous considering we all went outside and tailgated in the parking lot to watch the 2020 playoffs in the summer. Ah good times. I'm just glad I get to have shower time with my bros again.
  7. Good to hear. For the record, 75 break gloves are truly the superior break. Don't let these 60/90 heathens tell you otherwise/.
  8. Do you get changed in the bathroom stall too?
  9. I've definitely spent a good penny on used gear, but I've recouped most of it back from reselling it. I'd say I'm probably "out" $300 or so over the past few years. A $300 price tag to try different gear isn't too bad. I'm pretty set with my current set. It's not often I get to a point where I'm super happy with every piece of gear I have. I've finally nailed down the two pieces I've been iffy on over the past year (catcher, C/A) with my G6 catcher and Mach C/A and they've both taken over as my favourite of their respective categories. Any time I go into the Hockey Shop, I'm just not even interested in looking at gear any more.
  10. I've been buying used the past few years mostly for the ability to try different types of gear to see what sticks. I will typically buy new for stuff I'm sure I like. I'm in Bauer leg pads now, but it took me a couple of tries at it before I found the set I like. Tried the 2S (hate it), tried the 3S (loved it), tried the Mach (they were fine) and ended up going with the Ultrasonics. Without the used market, I'd probably still be in Warrior's.
  11. With glove prices going up the way they have been, I think you'll start to see a lot more people follow suit to sticking with what they have. Hell, if you asked me a month ago, I would've told you I was probably going to get a new set come spring/summer. With how prices keep increasing due to "inflation" (though somehow it's way higher than the inflation rate) and how happy I am with my set, I highly doubt I'll be dropping any cash for new gear. My stuff is all in great condition anyways.
  12. Heritage Classic in Vancouver was at BC place and technically has a retractable roof. Albeit it's only a small portion.
  13. I want them to go back to their Black/Green/Gold colours with the star shape at the base. Though, the Dallas Starbucks isn't the worst jerseys out there.
  14. I always completely remove the backplate, but, my VTX was the same way. Bone dry almost overnight without any fans.
  15. I have the same mask. It is a bit of an annoyance with the saved juices, but it's just something to live with. What I've found successful is just tossing on a standard oscillating house fan on my gear to move the air around and dry it out faster. I store my gear in my garage, so I can't rely on the air alone to dry it out during the colder months. Turning on the fan on for 24-48 hours will dry out all of my gear to nearly 100% except those squishy parts of the mask foam. Though, the retained sweat in those areas are significantly reduced to the point I barely pay it any mind.
  16. The Senior version of Warrior C/A's are the same size. It's mostly the inclusion of Hypercomp that differentiates the Pro and Senior units. The shoulders are massive on the Warrior units and they never really connect/form around your shoulders. It feels likes there is a ton of empty space in that area that leaves a somewhat disconnected feeling. When I started using my Mach, it was the first thing I noticed.
  17. More like was posting in a drunken haze
  18. You act like 7 hours is super far away or something. And not much to get, just a wickedly hilarious double joke.
  19. Since Brians is located right beside the province of Quebec, I assume there will be French versions of these pads too. All white is a very popular colour.
  20. Couldn't have happened to a better douche bag. The difference in the pro and pro+ is a small amount of extra width to the arms and larger floaters. The shoulder caps are essentially the same. Look how big I look in my Rx3 pro
