Still tough for me to feel super sorry for this guy (he did spear him multiple times seemingly targeting a sensitive area).

Yea, dude got punched in the mouth for being an asshole. It's a pretty classic case of FAFO.

Wow - concussion? Surprising considering he didn't give him a blocker shot. Maybe he hurt himself overselling it. Or maybe he's a cream puff. Anyways - as noted by @Chenner29 looks like the dude was being an assclown. Play stupid games - win stupid prizes. Hope he's alright... and learned his lesson.

Olli Palola pushed the goalkeeper with the tip of his club and then Mantas Armalis reacted by knocking an unprepared Palola.

The first reports after the game were that the forward had been taken to hospital and that he did not remember anything about the situation.

Now the forward has spoken out about the situation.

“It's a concussion, but nothing worse than that. I have already spoken to Armalis and the matter is settled, so it is unnecessary to comment more than that," he writes in a text message.

This is what Oskarshamn's team doctor Sadegh Dolatabadi says:

    - We know he's had a concussion, so we'll see. I haven't received an update yet after that, he says and continues:

    - We have X-rayed his skull. He was much better when he got to the hospital. He has gotten much better. It was normal concussion symptoms, I don't know more than that.

Armalis has been reported for the situation and risks punishment.

I hit the big 4-0 last week.  Celebrated in Bellingham with some of my wife's family.

In October my wife threw me a surprise party.  It was really a surprise since my birthday is in February.

Probably had you mixed up with her other husband.

On a separate unrelated note, my birthday is in October....

    Coming back for a question...

@Mroy31 and @coopaloop1234 when you wear/wore it, did you find the lower grey flaps useless in the design? I've seen a couple used ones out there (1S/2S) where the flaps were removed. I'm guessing it was to make more room when in your crouch. Seeing how it fits long on me, I was wondering if that would help with the fit or not. I do have the wing straps pulled as tight as they go to keep it up. No interference in the throat or mask.

@Mroy31 hasn't been active in almost two years now.

Can't say I ever noticed them on my 2S (medium) or Mach (small).

I'm assuming guys may be removing them to help with the integration between C/A and Jock/Pants when tucking. I don't tuck, so that may be an explanation as to why I don't have issues with them.

Here's a reminder as to where the belly portion of these C/A's fell on me. Can't remember your situation unfortunately.

Do you find that you have to pull down or readjust your mask during a game now and then? I'm used to a static chin cup vs a yo-yo one. Gets annoying now and then.

Nope. I prefer the elastic chin cup over the static one.

My VTX had a nylon one and it was fine, but the change to elastic allowed me to wear it tighter without affecting my comfort or ability to speak. I actually found myself fiddling with my VTX a lot more than my 960.

Too soft when pucks enter it. It cushions the puck too much to where you can’t always feel it in there. With the lace I can really feel pucks snap into the pocket more.

At least you were still using a Single-T. My Mach was Double-T with Skatelace and that lack of snap sensation always drove me nuts.

Single and Nylon is the way.

I think the best we have right now is the practice video of Lundqvist.

I still find it odd that we haven't seen much of this line leading up to release. Especially zero adoption in any Pro league.

    To add to my confusion.

Vasy still using Mach glove and blocker.

Hey dudes, I have L20.2 leg pads and just came across a set of 9x3’s and wow the stiffness in the thigh rise is very noticeable.  When you guys first got your Px3s were they tough to move around in because of the extra stiffness?

I feel very aware of the pads hitting each other and curious what you guys think of over time and break in will maybe change how much they interfere with each other.

That's a pretty common occurrence for anyone when they go up in thighrise stiffness. I know I experienced it going from V4's->RGTs, RGT2's->Ultrasonics, and Ultrasonics->Mach.

Your skating, movements, and overall comfortability will all adapt as you get used to the new specs and they'll become second nature eventually.

High School goalie playing against my son last night was full Warrior.

I presume his parents picked it all out for him.

For a while there I assumed that you saw a lot of Warrior at the beer leagues because it was cheaper and came with knee pads.

Now that neither of those things are true, we can remove those possibilities and just make the claim that he likes the gear lol
