  1. CA: Warrior Ritual Pro G1, size small, modded with lower belly flap and sewn up tight where the body and rib protection split. I may add braces straps. breezers: Heavily modded Vaughn LT80, size large Brown braces over top. Until I became a fat ass, I was a tucker. I still tucked when I had Tackla 6000 breezers, but they fell apart and became a royal blue shell. When I lose more weight, I will tuck once again. Problems: none; however, since I did mod the CA to where it was optimised for tucking, it is slightly less mobile as worn outside the breezers.
  2. Carbon is very repairable. When properly repaired, that spot is going to be stronger than before. It is even something you can do at home. I would not worry about that aspect. Now what I don't like about the integrated boot and holder is the inability to change if needed. It boxes you into something proprietary. What if True discontinues this style? And your reservation is very, very much on my mind. If it shatters into a zillion pieces, it would be much harder to repair and have it stay straight. I am certain Step would continue to build steel, but if you keep stuff for awhile, you could have forced replacement if the style is completely discontinued.
  3. I have to ask; Shawn Schroeder used a similar foam (or the same). It is much softer and not nearly as stiff as VN. When I get the masque, I will compare, then confirm. Then I will ask what is used.
  4. Actually- Protechsport does not use VN foam like the traditional. McMaster-Carr sells the softer stuff.
  5. Not yet- he said he was supposed to trim the shell on Tuesday. Haven't heard anything else. Just going to not worry about it at this point. I have a couple of twists planned for the appearance. Stay tuned...
  6. Now I am being told Monday or Tuesday. I don't want to piss him off but I am getting EXTREMELY frustrated right now!!!
  7. I got an email Monday saying that he was going to email me which shells fit my melon and he said it was going to be by the end of the week. No email. I am getting VERY worried.
  8. As long as I can still get the boot without a holder, I will repeat buy; however- a shot nearly broke my foot when I was cowling-free. Great boot, fits wonderfully; but cowling-free is NOT for me.
  9. He has to do the positive face mould, which will help decide. I want Roy, but have a funny feeling that my head won't fit that mould.
  10. Just got word that Michel will be starting my masque this week.
  11. It all depends on your beliefs. I am not crazy about soaking gloves, even though a glove is going to get crazy wet from sweat. Maybe it's just me... But obviously, nobody has complained about premature wear from the hot water method. It's down to preference.
  12. Convection oven at 170F, turn off the oven, liberally spritz glove (inside and out) with water, heat it for fifteen minutes, then work the glove whilst hot. I do this two to three times and it does well for me.
  13. Does a hydrodip require a clear? I looked into Diy hydrodip at one point and kinda forgot those details. I did like that it did really well on contours.
  14. LOL Print can seem so literal!
  15. What are current on everything except for the current Bauer graphics. But I'm not even a fan of the Lundqvist OD1N, either. I hate graphics, in general. I love my plain, no graphic PAW pads. Yes- I advertise on them, but that's a necessary evil for me.
  16. Not a big fan of cut and sew graphics, but if a gun were pointed at my head and would be shot if I did not use cut and sew graphics, Brian's are BY FAR the BEST cut and sew graphics on the planet!!!!
  17. There were a few I asked to never see again, like the dating websites. But I think that your ad picker is picking more relevant ads, for me, anyway.
