It is unreal that the Leafs always struggle. You could dress the entire NHL all star team in Leafs uniforms and they'd still lose in the first round.

Looking at the teams left - A final between the Jets and the Islanders would be interesting. Imagine going back 20 years ago and saying that in 2021 the Winnipeg Jets would be in the finals against the Islanders?

I need a thread to keep up with the playoffs. I know it's round two now. West/Canada: Avalanche/Knights - Avs lead 1-0 Canadiens/Jets - 0-0 still. East: Hurricanes/Lightning - TB leads 2-0 Bruins/Islanders - Tied 1-1 I haven't watched any games yet. I'm going to get into it now. I like the regular old school bracket they used this year rather than re-shuffling the deck every round.

I've been pretty much working from home for the past year. I'm fortunate in that my drives are way down. 200 miles a day is a lot of time in the saddle. Be careful. They really come out for service for everything? Is that included up to a certain mileage/months or do you have to pay for it per call? I know there aren't Tesla 'dealerships' in the traditional manner - so bringing it in for service isn't the same as the local Jeep place is. Not that it's a bad thing. Although my Jeeps come in for 'destructive maintenance' only. It's even better when I tell the service rep that. Most will get it, some will not. ha ha. I'm thinking about getting Car Shield. When car's hood won't close, an actual living Ghostbuster comes out to help. Him or Ice-T. Either way, totally worth it! Apparently a lot of people can't figure out how to close the hood on their vehicles. What a shame.

Teslas are way cool. But slow down on the worship a little. A) You literally have to plug it in and unplug it daily, sometimes more. Hardest part about getting gas every week or so in NJ is rolling my window down. I don't even need to get out of my car. B) Cool. C) A Tesla will never need maintenance? If you're talking about oil changes, I change mine once a year. Takes 15 minutes and costs $22. Everything else is the same. Brakes, tires, wheel bearings. I think the first rule of Tesla ownership is telling everyone you have a Tesla. Nobody really cares. Just sayin'

Saw that chaotic play where Tavares fell after being bumped and Corey Perry caught him with a knee to his head. Any update on Tavares? Freak accident. Happened so quickly. This happens so often in hockey at lower levels. Guys fall, other players can't help but get tangled up with them. Just the fact that NHL guys skate WAY faster than the rest of us mortals made this pretty wicked.

I'm 100% for everyone doing what they want. No mask, three masks, tattoo of Jose Canseco on your back. All are awesome. Mask rule was ok before there was a vax for those that wanted it. Now that they're paying people to get it... drop all the mask rules and let's go. Anyone who wants one here has been able to get it for over a month. The news keeps running stories of people asking "what if people lie and don't have their vaccine and not wearing a mask?" Don't matter to you. Worry about yourself. If you're worried, wear a mask still. It's not illegal to wear a mask. It's going to be odd walking into a store without a mask on for a while. My wife's job just told them today that they no longer need to wear masks indoors. She's in NJ. She's been vaccinated since Dec/Jan.

US CDC today lifted mask rules. But I live in communist New Jersey, so we're wearing them here until at least 2024 I think. Want to get people to get the vaccine? Lift the mask mandate. What better motivation than not having to wear a mask and be in fear?

I'll meet you at the border and throw some bags of Chick-fil-a over to you. Honestly, with the lack of border rules here, and the fact that they're begging everyone here to take some vaccines... sounds like you need to make a 2 week trip south. I mean, we're throwing vaccines away here. They now want 12-15 year old kids to get them. I saw that they give vaccines at baseball games to fans. I say we need to send them north asap. Or just let anyone come down and get some.
