I love how the vision you had for the colours, the team logo, and the mask painting were all realized in such obvious and impressive harmony. You must be wanting to have mirrors all around you when you're suited up; I know I would! So the one tiny little thing for me when I first saw these pics was the white stick tape. Instinctively, I wanted to call out a tape faux pas, but looking at it some more, I'm not sure now. I mean, it picks up the white in the jersey, but it's in such stark contrast to the black stick. And the dark blues in the gear and uniform are not black, which throws things off too. Maybe a blue, if it was the right shade...? I'm sure you've considered this, so what thought process ultimately brought you to white stick tape...?

Ooh! And include some of your brand logo on badges and stickers, making it seem like a “free gift” instead of the “free advertising” it really is!

Agreed. The “Who’s Online” is a nice-to-have, but doesn’t affect functionality when it craps out. Fewer ads is also nice!

Has anyone tried this Velcro strapping behind the holder rather than over top of the boot? I have Pro laces, and loved the idea of having my lil squirts' names showing, but when I tried this in the dressing room, it felt funny. I chickened out and changed it before even stepping out of the room.

This week’s beer is HYPA IV, from Brasserie du Bas Canada (IMHO, easily the best NEIPA makers in the National Capital Region). These cats are on point; this is legit nectar, and right up there with Lawson’s, The Alchemist, Foam, and Tree House. cheers!

Paper Salesman, by local favourites Dominion City Brewing Company. Like a NEIPA, but only 5.6% (so ideal when you don’t want or go full-on DIPA, and commit to 8% or more.)

Played today, watching hockey with my son, and having a Focal Banger - which I got from one of the Dads on my kid’s team. Sometimes, hockey and beer just makes everything work, and makes nothing else matter.
