Mike24
Which lines from Vaughn, ccm(reebok), Bauer, warrior are more of a softer pad? Speaking in terms of current or within a year on so's lines.
bunnyman666
Vaughn seem pretty soft, though they are trying to be stiffer. CCM are reputed to be pretty soft, at least the Flex series.
cwarnar
Vaughn is still fairly soft, although they've modified theirs foams and core so their pads won't settle as much. CCM Eflex and Brian's Hertiage are your best bets. Simmons, Boddam, Kenesky and Passau could like do some custom for you as well
Alberta
Ccm E-Flex is a softer pad the Reactor line is softer for bauer Warrior is the Ritual line, looks like they have a new pad comming out soon Vaughn XF series is "Xtra Flexible" and XR series is "Xtra Rigid"

Same pad as the Simmons 586. I really like the flex to the pad. Tried a pair of Larcenys and even they were stiff compared to the Hybrids. Have a barely used pair for sale too as part of my concussion sale!
WillyGrips13
I agree about the Boddam/Simmons 586 pads. I have the 586 pads and they are soft.

Now the new names for the lines make sense. So the XF is the continuation of the V3 7500, V4 7600, V5 7800, and V6 2000/2300 pads. The XR is the continuation of the V5 7990 and the V6 2200 pads, I don't remember what the V4 variant was called.
