  1. The method that I used to reskin the blocker didn’t eliminate ANY of the pop for the hard rebounds. This block pops shots just as hard, if not harder than before. The foam backing was removed from the Jenpro.
  2. This could’ve been terrible. Invest in a good mask.
  3. I had a whooped GM3000, so I did a thing:
  4. I don’t know what was going on with the mechanical Avid I had installed. I didn’t want to tear it down and rebuild it. I will have to, eventually LOL I bought Shimano, which used regular mineral oil.
  5. Lizard Skinz now owns that brand, but they have retained the same quality.
  6. If it’s printed and cut design, then definitely; if it is an entire design on a few sheets of vinyl meant to cover the entire mask, then it depends on the installation.
  7. Added Shimano hydraulic rear brake to my Dirt Jumper build. I was becoming quite irritated with how I couldn’t stop on the bloody thing. I have a Hope rear disc (203mm), so stopping shouldn’t be an issue, but it took WAAAAAYYYY too long to stop. Normally Avid calipers do the job, but something was off. Also replaced the grips with Lime Green Oury, which are super nice grips. Pix to come…
  8. The lower end XSG holder uses plastic hardware, which CAN be replaced with metal FYI
  9. I have seen it once in person (a pop out), but it is likely a rare occurrence. If Bauer’s soft steel has been rectified, then I would be happier to try the new Skate bone stock, no changes.
  10. Where did that jersey come from?
  11. Witnessed Beer Leaguer Joe pop a shot that popped a Bauer blade from the holder, and both the shooter and shootee were equally shocked. Just say no to the Bauer holder.
  12. If I could order these with no holder, I would. The CCM retention system on the holder is the best out there.
  13. I can air mine out and whilst not smelling like a rose, it doesn’t kick you in the face, either. I don’t spray, but I also don’t let my stuff sit in a closed bag.
  14. I suppose a screech is better than monotone; though both go right through me!
  15. With a bit of a twist! I had new wheels powder coated for my whip and liked the colour so much that I decided that the cage needed to be done, so here we are: repro Jofa in Triple Bronze:
  16. Queue the Living Colour song “Open Letter to a Landlord”…
  17. LOL Snow, sand, or in my case: a tougher bike workout! The inertia of these wheels and the ponderous steering make it tough to ride.
