If I had gone custom I was contemplating Retro Tan but seeing the Bucky in person I’m really glad I got these. Not to toot my own horn but they are stunning in person. Love the contrast with the black primo inside surfaces.

Been on way too much of a gear acquisition tear lately... the Optiks came in today: Cant wait to try them on the ice. Will report back soon...

Interesting question, @Moose75 @ULTIMA, but depends first on whether the design is protected or even protectable. @TheGoalNet with all the cross-pollination between brands, would be cool if an industry insider could give us a sense of what aspects of gear are protected and not.

Can anyone compare the Fit 1, 2, 3 to the retail CCM sizes? Specifically, which one is closest to retail medium and retail large? Thanks!

Anyone have any suggestions for how to clean XPM padding? Just soap and water? I pulled mine out for paint and figured I should use the opportunity to clean it up.

No, these were the holes that came drilled for the stock cheater cage.

Just came in. Will add to the feedback in the CR1 thread once I get it on the ice. Very excited. 26” Mzarek curve. Initial observations: - 26” paddle matches up with 25” Bauer 1S, but Warrior total length is about .5”-1” shorter. - Slide grip is legit. This is one of the main features I was interested in because I really dislike tape on the paddle and the Bauer grip on the 1S. Playing around with my blocker on very easy to disingage and go from “short stick” to “long stick” and back. - Graphics look really nice with the gloss finish. Thought I wouldn’t like that but I was wrong.

Not sure. They did not have one at the goalie crease when I ordered. I have a pro stock Ti CCM cage that fits my Mage RS perfectly. Haven’t checked it on the Pro Series yet.

Yeah it’s for this reason that it did not beat out my 960XPM as my primary mask. It’s an excellent shell but I will need to upgrade the foam in the future.

I’m still ruminating on my Optik color choices, in the meantime, a local goalie was selling his like-new 1S pads and blocker for a too-good-to-pass-up price, so I pounced. Gave them a Pad Wrap sock graphic makeover for this game. Glove is my G3 senior. Mask is a vinyl tape job I did myself (posted about it in the Mask Thread previously).

My XPM is a Fit 1. Its currently out for paint. Will get the weight when it comes back. I know I’ve weighed it before and it was around 1300 grams with cage, but can’t remember for sure. They are outstanding. I’ve bought a few extras. They are cheap, super comfortable, and dry quickly. I have experienced way better sweat absorption with the 37.5s vs. shams.

Thanks! Pinstriping tape is a really easy way to do a temporary design. I will I’ll say the new paint job will be inspired by a Pekka Rinne mask. As much as I liked the black/yellow design, I want to get away from the linear/line-art look and something more organic looking. Won’t have any pop stars on it but hope people like it when it comes back!
