  1. I knew you were trouble, trouble... @ULTIMA as I said before, I applaud the commitment and the artist’s skill!
  2. Not going with Bruins themed and also not linear/stripey this time. I'm going for something that is definitely bold but will go with any uniform. I'm kind of straight stealing from an NHL goalie and the concept has been done well by others too, but I'm in love with the design and will be very happy rocking it. Will definitely post as soon as I get it back!
  3. Thanks! Just alternating 1/4” vinyl pin striping tape. It’s awesome for masks - stays put once applied but easy to remove cleanly.
  4. Here’s a tape job I did myself on my 960 XPM for a special outdoor game my team played recently: And now the tape is off and this mask is off for some custom paint (totally different design)! Although many will probably think it’s derivative, I’m pretty excited about my design idea. Going to be a long four weeks...
  5. @TheGoalNet or anyone familiar with Bauer masks - can anyone compare the retail fits of the 960 XPM (S/M and M/L) with the NME fits (Fit 1, Fit 2, Fit 3)? Specifically, which NME Fit is closes to an XPM S/M? Thanks!
  6. Wow thanks - those are great points. Any chance you have the weights of the R/GT and G4 Pro models?
  7. Just curious - why do you (and others) like the robo-arms? Is it mobility? Or protection? I have never tried one on but it seemed like it was a pretty heavy unit.
  8. I use a bungee cord with carabiner-type clips. I attach the clips to the unused boot strap holder thing since I don’t use a bootstrap then hang them upside down.
  9. Yeah the benefits of organization, the locker-style setup in the dressing room, and the rolling outweighed the difficulty of getting in and out of the car for me.
  10. Coincidentally, I have an outdoor game coming up this week (first ever). It’s not cold enough here to be a problem but I kinda want to put a pom hat on my mask for style lol
  11. @TheGoalNet @Puckducker Yeah everything fits. I just put knee guards inside the pants. For airing out, I do usually pull out the C/A and glove so I can hang them up and get more air into them. Everything else can stay in the Grit and get plenty of air to get dry.
  12. Get a Grit goalie tower. Best decision I’ve made. Everything stays perfectly organized and it’s ventilated so you just open it up to get airflow. It has hooks and elastic to attach the leg pads to the outside too.
  13. Thanks very much. That’s an advantage of the ProLaces - since you are installing their toe bridge it’s prelaced with the thick 1/4” elastic. The way HALs are installed, you are threading the elastic through your existing lace holes just like regular laces. I’ve tried using 1/4” elastic and it’s extremely difficult if not impossible to get through. Using a latch hook tool helps though. I’m going to try running 1/4” on the RYNOs.
  14. No problem. Even without measuring, I remember the ARS elastic is 1” and I doubt the clip is much wider, if at all. Should work fine.
  15. I personally used the ARS straps (same as G3) on my RGTs with S190s with the Vertexx Edge holder. Yes they fit just fine. If you need an exact measurement on the width of the ARS toe strap and buckle, let me know and I’ll grab the calipers
  16. Has anyone compared their Pro Laces to HALs? Specifically, the elastic/shock cord material? I have a set of RYNOs and PAW is making a set of Velcro toe bridges for me, so I’m trying to find the most durable possible shock cord for the RYNOs. I have used webbing, etc. in the past for sheathing but was hoping to avoid that if possible.
  17. Here’s one I posted before. Are you looking for another angle?
  18. The knots are in the part of the elastic that secures to the HAL Velcro “tabs”. You insert the end of the elastic into the hole in the Jenpro loop on the HALs and tie a knot to secure. What I meant was that if you use a really big knot (I use a figure 8 to make sure there are no pop-outs) it makes it harder to fit in the hole on the True holder. Good to hear you like the RYNOs. They seem to get solid reviews.
  19. Just an FYI, I tested my set of HAL straps on my True holders and they fit. Its a tight fit for sure, especially if you use a big knot in your elastic like I do, but they work. I think the best set up for these is going to be the RYNOs. I’m just waiting on my toe bridge kit from Monster to install mine.
  20. But only P31 pattern booooooooooo
  21. 2S Pro Stick “10% lighter than previous model”. Daaaaaaamn.
  22. Yes and yes. I tried one skate with the originals. Can’t really speak to them much because I had a poor bake before the first skate. I could immediately tell they needed a rebake and I decided that after so many years of using Superfeet I wasn’t going to be happy with any other feeling, so I got an professional rebake with the Superfeet in and they are now perfect.
