  1. A goal is a goal is a goal. No reason to ban it. Gives fans something to get hyped up over. Hockey is entertainment, these goals are quite entertaining, deal with it.

Will United Cycle continue carrying the product in Edmonton? Thanks Trevor.

Inner belt. By pro spec do you mean the NHL spec version?

@McKenney Hockey pants look fantastic. Also agreed in inquiring if they could be ordered without a belt. Thanks !!

@McKenney Hockey anything you can share on the new C/A? Anything on pants, my McKenney pants were the best ones i ever had, just had to downsize and couldn't find any 890's locally.
  6. I posted in the (now defunct ) mask thread regarding my mask refurbish, and now I finally have it back in my hands and wore it last night! Huge props to @Doobiesnax for letting me be his guinea pig on his first time airbrushing.
  7. @coopaloop1234 hit it right on the nail. I have a jiggyfly, so i store my pads upside down typically to get that super curved thighrise.
  8. Actually i've been cultivating a giant fro.... I'm trying to add to the trend of Movember and go full on FROvember.

    CCM Gear

Agreed. I'm not going to notice that weight. QK5 is weight difference is pointless only plus I see is durability advantages over leather. I think less straps are popular for us lazy cucks who just want to have more time to chug beer before/after our ice times (we all know that's the most important part).
  10. Now, now. I offered you a barter. I ended up with those floaters anyways... I liked mine better. Coop, you're lucky i'm not heading to BC any time soon (: Considering half the backplate was manufactured by you, you can't fully implicate me, and me alone on this. :D
  11. The arms are made up of CCM (arms), Passau (elbow floater), Vaughn (wrist strap) and Warrior parts (elbow cup) ;) Haven't you seen my entire thread of frankenchesties. I'm a nut when it comes to my C/A's lol.
  12. Here are some progress pictures from earlier in the week/last week. I don't have anymore updated pictures, but mask has been cleaned up a bit more, and passed off to @Doobiesnax who's going to put on some finishing touches. Also got my hands on a non-cert cateye for the mask as well.
  13. It's super mobile, I worked it to be protective, square, yet very movable.
  14. In the spirit of @TheGoalNet's chelfie.... Further mods made: - Added side extensions to not interfere with my new eflex 1.9 pants - ritual g2 pro shoulder floaters - ritual g2 pro harness with custom straps made by @Doobiesnax - added wrist guards on the arms
  15. Curious if my 960 is worth a refurb. Wouldn't mind giving it a try. Despite how unsafe it is. The comfort level on it right now is insanely comfortable, and I can't bring myself to get away from it, despite my new protechsport. Note: I only have the cert cage for it at this time. The picture with the cateye on it is from November. What do y'all think.
  16. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS BUY MONSTER.
  17. Glad to see i'm not the only one with frankenchesties around here :). @cuprajake - is that the mckenney 855 body with harness, shoulder floaters, heard guard, arms from a senior ventus?
  18. Update to the unit: Still using the CCMAB500 arms as a base. However I moved my Passau elbow floaters over for more mobility - the Sr CCM arms actually have more protection. Things i'm thinking of doing still: Adding a belly extension Replacing the collar (it got dinged up in the washer) Adding forearm protection on the arm / finding extended elbow cup.
  19. Another contribution to this thread from my part. I still see my last championship is on the same page.
  20. It's quite clean and open. I'll edit this post in about 8-9 hours with a picture. Uses tabs to secure it from going through the slots.
  21. Given his influence at other places, I think he may be one of their VIPs that end up getting products first, while everyone else waits, hence his good experiences.
