I initially used HAL's, but I was using an old Reebok Customlite cowling for a bit, and the tabs didn't fit thru the front hole too well. So what I ended up doing was grabbing spare shock cord, and feed it thru the loop where the ARS toe straps are, and added it to a shock cord clip.

The latest iteration of the frankenchesty.... Got a cheap Gen 1 Passau, and figured my warrior body was a bit beefier, and got the work. Moved the arms and harness over.

Penny jar has been started. Unfortunately on many nights(afternoons) it's become my happy hour jar ) As TGN posted on IG, let's see how the custom AS1 does. I wonder if it'll have a reinforced toe cap that the option to mount a vertexx holder would be possible. We did see someone mount the Tacks to them before previously... Wonder how their toes are doing.

I was talking to him last week as well as he followed up with me after receiving my mask to see how fit was, and me potentially sending him back another mask or two to get repadded since he has my head mold too.

Bad Bauer fit is right. I was in supremes and vapors, and couldn't make either work. I'm hoping to see the next iteration of CCM Ribcor skates soon since they likely fit the widest of any modern goalie skate line.

How close are you to being in a full Ritual GT Suit?

I compared both over the weekend, and found them very close to the Bauer holders. There was a TRUE 2 piece in store too, but I didn't have the time to compare. Should've though. I too wonder. I'm trying to get my hands on the attack holder right now as well, and one key advantage i'm hearing is that it comes with the CCM black steel by default, so i don't immediately have to upgrade my steel. For newer TRUE skates, they make for a very enticing alternative.

CCM Attack Holder would be roughly the same as Bauer Vertexx in attack angle anyways. Good option for those who want 4mm steel and bit more toe protection on their 2 pieces.

Most shops are getting in new stock of skates in May/June (CCM AS1/Bauer Supreme 2S). Unless you need to order a cowling in.

Got to check out a pair in person yesterday. Veeeery nice skates. Very intrigued in the cowling as well - might get a set to mount onto my RBK 16k boots to be honest (and burn my vapor x900's in a fire)

Depends where. Abundance of rinks up here keeps me around. Maybe i'll move back to the lower mainland one day. If I recall correctly I went to a "Green Timbers Elementary"? No idea where that is. I'd have to guess our other leagues are roughly similar. But Vancouver area has probably triple the population Edmonton has too.... I guess that's living in Canada for you.

BOOOOOO! I sub for the team he faced in ERHL finals. I also watched him win that one. Also in the lower divs, such as 14 - it's mixed south north. Here was my bracket: That said this league is huge - there are 200 teams altogether (confirmed with the league while i was paying team fees today). My team went 5-2 in playoffs (4-25 regular season LOL). Also @coopaloop1234 Surrey needs more crack. I spent a bit of time in the Guildford area as a kid... we couldn't move back to Edmonton fast enough.

Before the game today, I asked for everyone to take a moment to show our respects for the Broncos. Several of the players are from the area and I cannot imagine how devastated their families are.

I can attest to the Brian's sr catchers. Own a Subzero 6.0 and that thing is a tank. Very protective and beefy, and still holding up well after 2 years of heavy usage.

Looking at these protechsports has been super excited. Has been about 10 weeks since he emailed me saying he has received my headmold. Hopefully not too long to go!
