    @ZeroGravitas have any feedback based on custom orders? Mach and Hyperlite have the same connection points I believe, so they are interchangeable. I believe whatever you order is what you get in the box. You will not get the Mach strapping too if you order HL on Mach. You should be able to get HL on Mach if that is your choice FWIW, I have used all OD1N pads... Mach is a major step forward for Bauer. It works well and it does not require patience dialing it in.

    This chatter is actually inspiring me. I might try to make an extension to make them sit more like Axis 1. My main issue is getting in and out of RVH or sort of 1/2 recovering. When I am in some scrunched positions, the pads interfere with pants and C&A. I can get through skates, but I am just not comfortable with it and would prefer a shorter version of this pad given the choice.

    He's been doing this St.L. From memory, True offered it a first and then stopped. The skates now visit an auto body shop after they arrive and get the "white holder" treatment.

    For the updated QMSS, I found the pad is sitting higher off my skate. It's not a bad thing, like the strapping, but frustrating that my pads play too large now. If I had to do a re-order, I would order a smaller size.

    ironically, basically taking the tendon guard off the player skate is what we have now as goalies skates

    I am not sure TikTok or the Meta verse existed when this website started? I can say, our website hits are pretty consistent though. It will be hard for the forum to grow, but it's not going anywhere. It's also the slow season before camps and the season start.

    An adult rec goalie should base 0 purchasing decisions based on what an NHL goalie wears. IMO, the Konekt flex has greatly reduced pain in hips the day after a game. It's a more forgiving skate. If you have the means to buy this skate and currently experience any joint pain after a skate, I think that alone could justify the cost? Who cares if they are 10% heavier and not accepted by NHL goalies... but they allow your body to accept the rigors of goaltending with less stress?

    Skin also has something to do with it too But generally speaking, no one is close to Bauer in rebounds. The Bauer rebounds have velocity off of them. Everyone else just has distance, but it's not fast.

    Pro Laces sent me a piece of Velcro. it velcros on to it self. I wrap the loop over the mid foot buckle. Then put the prolaces velcro through that.

    I am guessing they are Miller. Maybe this is around the time the league starting asking for logo fees? Roy's pads were blank around this time. As for the colors? Maybe he liked the feel of OG leather in the shins, but was okay with white synthetics in the less important areas for weight and durability savings?

    Generally speaking, it seems like everyone is amazed or satisfied with the performance? As to be expected, we have some "unusual" feet and people are still dialing in the fit? But these are feet that don't fit perfectly into stock skates to begin with?

    2 thoughts: 1. I think if you clip the buckles back on the second you take them off, you will ensure that you minimize the number of chances to lose the position 2. I have definitely had them twist on me, but I feel like I notice instantly? You will be surprised how quickly you get used to the feel. I twist them one way looser and they feel perfect again

    I have had my feet scanned with Aetrex Albert scanner. I am in the 90 and 95% percentile for arch height. One foot is higher than the other. The boot hugs your arches like I have never felt. I know everyone's feet are different, but I would be shocked if you need insoles on top of Konekt.
