Crazy, but I am close to your location and may have what you need. My kid is intermediate in sizing so I had to extend his junior sized pro lace to make it longer for him, as Senior Prolaces were too loose for him. There is a slit however towards each hole but it might still be of use to you?

Yeah looking back on it, I was slightly concerned that the toebox on my TF9s were a bit tight, but turns out I could trim the footbed a bit, and as @froese mentioned, they loosened up after about 25~50 skates.

Actually you know what? I'm confused myself. I looked back at my orders, and they were both Vvivid 3M. So probably just the way that I applied, or maybe the material? If I remember correctly, it did not work on my Brian's pads, but it worked super well on my kid's CCM pads (to the point where I had to be careful taking his off at the end of the season). Trying to think of the main differences, both were cleaned beforehand, but I used rubbing alcohol to clean my kid's pads, I used a heat gun only on mine, I also left mine 24 hours before playing, but on his I left it for a couple of days longer. I've used both of the protection film, and 3M stayed stuck muuuuch better than the other one. However, there might have been other application factors at hand just so you know.

Yeah I had tried the Messenger before with no luck. The Email is finally what did it, he just sent the refund. But no real message to it, so I don't know for sure.

I didn't want to go into the details, but I don't know what else to do. What happened was that he had scheduled my wrap, confirmed to be done on August 21st (he said he needed ~3 hours to complete), and so I scheduled a trip down and modified my stay, but he ended up being away out of the province for another week somehow. I’m finding it hard to coach two kids with very different abilities at the same time, with limited time and limited ice space. This year my kid’s team has two goalies and their skill discrepancies are hard to overcome for any drill that’s not just skating. It’s been a very challenging start to the year.

@RichMan I know about four guys that own or have owned that truck, they all love that they own it or regret that they no longer own it. I didn’t know that the gas consumption was that bad on it though.

I find this convo to be pretty funny, as it reminds me of an exact argument I had as a mechanic. I used to work for a shop that rebuilt 60s-70s muscle cars, and one customer came in one day huffing and puffing that he had just gotten in a minor car accident the other day in his daily modern car which is now totalled and complaining on how these Japanese cars are all plastic and any little bump crumples them like a cheap lawn chair. “They don’t make ‘em like they used to!” Was a common phrase we heard from our customers. Well yeah, in the old cars the crumple zone was your legs, new cars which have proper give are able to dissipate the energy properly saving the occupants inside. I asked him if he had any injuries from the crash, and he said no, but I think the question went over his head.

Yeah I would speak to a podiatrist over anything here. I think my custom TRUEs shaped the bottom of the boot as well a bit, but I don't have anything pronounced like that.

What interests me is that as someone who sweats profusely, the mesh could be a lot cooler, and also I could rinse it under water after a skate and it would dry real quick after.
