  1. I was still a wee lad probably still in Korea depending on how mid 80s. Marche de l’Ouest was a gem when the Arcade was still there!
  2. Fun tidbit: Canadian Tires also used to give out paper Canadian Tire money that looked and felt like real money to offset the 3% credit card upcharge if you used Debit or cash. Some not so nice Canadians used to use them as real currency abroad. Now they just use a loyalty card like everyone else. I miss them because I used to use them to light my cigars like in the movies.
  3. Was my first job (the one on Sources)! I was terrible at it.
  4. You can always borrow mine whenever we match up.
  5. I know your pain being in the middle. I always joke to my wife that there needs to be an Extra Medium sizing. Good luck my twin-sized friend.
  6. My FTK is pretty much the same. I wear a 3X which should fit like the GSX. I was told that I was right in the middle and could get away with a Bauer Large, but I went with a Medium instead and I'm happy I went with that.
  7. This is the truth, I think that and coupled with the fact that the dealer at the time was pretty scummy about warrantied repairs (not just me apparently), it made the brand sour around the area. Having experienced repairing some of the Jeeps over the years, I've come to the conclusion that Jeeps are either lemons that will give you misery or will last till the end of time with basic maintenance.
  8. I had a 90s Grand Cherokee and it scared me off of Jeep/Mopar altogether. but I think the next gen 2005~2010 was much better in terms of reliability.
  9. On this line of thought, it would also be kinda cool if you/someone made a skate that leveraged and reused the Bauer liner (as those are for purchase separately).
  10. Yeah B-Sharp told me you can bake/sharpen/play in them and if you don't like it, you can return the Trues within 30 days from purchase. My TF9s are slightly cramped at the toe on the pinky side and it's a different feeling for sure, but I am used to it now and I don't even think about it anymore. There is also a wide version like someone else mentioned, that might serve you better. I would highly checkout B-Sharp and ask for Joe, he will be able to fit you properly.
  11. Same same (but different girl)
  12. I know it's not a solicitation for pucks, but are you looking for any from the Ottawa/Montreal region? I can get some OHL ones for you too.
  13. I heard from someone that it will eventually wear in and you will get a better seal on the ice. I wish I remembered whom so that I could ask more details.
  14. I hadn't skated out in a long while, and it was super fun. Hope to see you out there more often.
  15. Yeah I had both as well, the Supreme ones hurt my legs and came loose mid-game every game. Vapour ones are just perfect.
  16. He looked like he dislocated his shoulder or something in the beginning and then came back after still in pain. What a tough player, I'm super impressed at how he battled through it all.
  17. I thought the CVTs were a later thing for the Subarus, I believe the 2.5i base still had the 4-speed which I mean wasn't great either. I think that was the first gen of the Muranos, and they had some design issues (which the owner may have resolved I dunno). With either of these cars, do spend for the independent Pre-purchase inspection, it will save you so much in headache and more money. I've seen some nightmare scenarios. I personally would go for the Subaru it's a better more capable ride (especially with our winters) and a refined design over the course of many years, but at that price range it's a bit of a toss up which will be better for you.
  18. Another question is if anyone's tried the new ProSharp Ellipse.
  19. What is the stock profile on TRUE steel? I kinda like it so far. I used to SAM before and that felt decent too but less agile slightly? Too many variables to consider though
  20. @MTH How you holding up buddy?
  21. Losing Gudas early in the game didn't help either.
  22. This looks like it imo, and it's on one side, which would make sense. If so, then cut a opposing velcro part to match it up to the exposed part
  23. What is the main difference? Just more emphasis on movement?
  24. Yeah when I tie knots with leather it never seems to land where it supposed to and then it stretches as I'm making the knot. I'll give this a try.
  25. Losing Tavares was a factor but yeah Price was lights out, and the players said that after winning Game 6, everyone knew that Game 7 was a foregone conclusion.
