  1. I asked him and he said yes, and probably June but he wasn’t 100% any precise date.
  2. My skates are in, but I have to wait till Monday =(
  3. I have a couple from Athletic Knit and another couple from this random jersey company that my beer league team used (TKO jerseys I think).
  4. For hockey socks I wear the new style non-knit material that facilitates the pads to slide around. I have found XL sizing to be able to slide over my PAW knee pads and keep them from moving.
  5. Joe at B-Sharp, tell him I sent you. He’s restored and fixed my player TRUEs and saved them. He’s fantastic to work with.
  6. I heard this too, and when I used the scanner it showed me in a size smaller. However when I went to get sized they were congruent with my Bauer sizing but that could also be because I’m in the wrong size for my Bauers.
  7. It even got the straps perfect. It's too bad that I already have a mask, and I would not fit into this one.
  8. I would try a nice set of insoles first. I would also go new TF7/9 over used Trues, unless you get to see it in person to inspect it carefully and try it on so that you know it will be a good fit.
  9. I went to get fitted at one of the top fitters in town, but need to go back as they did not have stock. I will ask if this is possible.
  10. I've only had a used Passau Pro pack, and it was a tank facing ex-Jr shots. I only felt one stinger ever because of a shot that deflected somehow upwards between the shoulder cap. Having said that, I'm 6'0" 180lbs and it was waaaay bulky and I had trouble moving in it. I'm not the strongest guy so if you're an athlete you may have better luck.
  11. Just my suggestion but I would go with a really well used 3X if I were you and see how that goes. If it's too soft then you know that a new 3X will soften up too much in the end, and you can go with the Supreme/Mach line. You could probably recoup most of your money by selling the used after and then get what you really want after that experiment. I find that trying it just once or twice isn't enough, you need like a good month to find out what you like. Also I only have the experience of the G4 Pro and the 3X to compare but the 3X gives off much hotter rebounds.
  12. Just saw some various chest models for sale https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/goalie/goalie-chest-arm-protectors/6219721-warrior-new-large-ritual-x4-pro-goalie-chest-protector https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/goalie/goalie-chest-arm-protectors/6219769-warrior-new-large-ritual-x4-pro-goalie-chest-protector Pants too https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/goalie/goalie-pants/6219412-warrior-senior-new-large-ritual-x4-pro-hockey-goalie-pants
  13. I'm going in next week to my LHS to get fitted possibly. So I guess I'll report back with my own findings. They said they were low on stock with limited sizes available on hand, but could order more if needed within a week.
  14. I'm looking for feedback on TF7/TF9. Especially from users with thin ankles/shins on how well the top of the skates wraps or provides support?
  15. Are the speculated mid-tier Konekt coming out at the same time (if not, then when)? Those are my next skates I think, those or the TF9s. Looks like July for the skates
  16. Probably because of EQM being able to source Bauer style aftermarket steels from their fav places, as well as the tool-less removal/replacement of steels.
  17. One thing I've noticed is that the new skate height is unforgiving to a poorly fitting skate. I will make a new post about it, but the new skate height basically exposed a fit issue that I am currently experiencing.
  18. Just had a game with the new and they were amazing, super comfy on the legs. They didn't loosen like the other ones did either.
  19. I thought it was just me, honestly thought I had it on wrong as it dug into my leg past a certain point. Good to know that they also have a non buckle version. I just placed an order for those.
  20. Thank you @ArdeFIN for the response. I just had a look and the pants seems good. I can however bend the plate slightly with a lot of force from my hands. I think what is happening is that the whole pant leg is shifting outward when a puck hits it causing the thigh plate to bend around my leg that acts like a fulcrum and deflect the puck in, but I don't know how to solve this. The pants are not too big for me I think, and it's just odd that it's been happening consistently all of a sudden in the last few games. It is very frustrating. I suppose the newer style of rounded pants would have the same issue? I'm just looking at something to blame this on rather than my technique. Maybe I need bigger pants?
  21. In each of my last four pick up games, I've given up at least a goal in which the puck hits my pants on the middle of my thigh or just off center and the padding gives way and the shot goes through. I'm not sure what to do, if it's me (it's probably me), or my pants. Of course it's not where you want to really make a save, but I'd hope for some to at least drop down. I'm in between a Medium and a Large, but I wear medium as I've found that the Medium pants helps with my movement. Anyone else had this trouble? One particularly bad one was when I was covering the whole post in an RVH blocker side with the paddle kinda down because he was close and the shooter had nothing so he just shot it to end the play and it hit my pants and just went through like a doggie door.
