Not to crap on you completely here, but returns/warranties are absolutely baked into the cost of almost any good out there.
I agree with you on asking for a higher degree of QC though.
I do wonder if this could be in part of the warehouse getting back up to proper working functionality. I don't think I've seen complaints on these issues on any Pre-G5 gear. Though, I should check my GT2 set.
In case you guys want an idea what the flagship league in Canada is doing for their new 4v4 league.

It's going to be a confusing first few games.
Here's my R/GT2 Pro. Foam sticking out a bit. I can close it off a bit more by adjusting the "pocket" but it's never affected anything.
I believe the G5 still has that axis tee system right? If not, these gloves break in pretty easily.
Here's my catcher that has had nothing done to it but playing in it.
That doesn't open the glove any more. I know some guys loosen up the elastic strap that goes from the cuff to below your thumb as they find it helps ease up the closure.
I've never found it to be a hindrance though.
I'm in a Medium but would probably benefit from a Medium body and small arms.
My LT90 C/A before that was awesome as it had shorter cuffs than most brands.
Constantly. I've gone back and forth between the MID and HIGH setting on my blocker.
I rocked HIGH forever when I got my R/GT 1 set as I was still used to a velocity blocker hand placement. Once I got my R/GT C/A, I had to move it down to a MID setting due to the elbow floaters interfering. I've used MID for over two years now that going back throws me off.
You'll inevitably mess with it anyways as you'll definitely want to take advantage of being able to wash your gloves.
I wouldn't worry about the foam there. The sidewall on Warrior blockers aren't sewn in but are kind of placed in a pocket. You can easily adjust this to recover the end and it won't plague you going forward (or it shouldn't).
Chances are you'll want to mess with the hand placement anyways to see what works best, so you can tackle that at the same time.
Bauer C/A's are used everywhere from the show to the lowly beer leagues.
They're not the most popular brand, believe Vaughn is still rocking that title, but, I wouldn't worry about protection level in any off the shelf pro Bauer unit.
I'm still pretty sure it's only a single break below the knee.

This lists that there is only a single external break, but who knows.
Exactly about the stiffness. I know the G3/4 lines were internal double break whereas the RGT lines are just single outer/inner break. My GT1 softened up quote a bit but till nothing like a double break.
