  1. Yep, Pro and Pro Custom are both made in Thailand for years now. The goalie gear has made in Thailand stickers and the box has "Cortina" tape which is the factory in Thailand.
  2. US. Sadly, Bauer custom is made in Thailand.
  3. Paid on 4/11 but had originally submitted my order 3/24. There was a mixup with my order form that caused a delay in payment. They might have bumped my order up. It's just over 7 weeks since I paid, or 10 weeks since the order was submitted.
  4. MEAN. Here's the set. Vapor 90 vs True 580. Note the differences in the shape of the cuff, steepness of the thumb, location of the tee, shape of the fingers/palm.
  5. Came home after work and saw a box at the door that had some telltale tape on it. I knew exactly what it was...
  6. I restored the post and removed any/all flags on Ace. Please ban me if I've overstepped.
  7. Memorial Day clearance sale at GoalieMonkey.com. Use code MEMORIAL30 to take 30% off clearance items. Lots of Warrior gear on sale including chest protectors. Get a Warrior X3 Pro+ for $399 after the promo code. Good hunting!
  8. I was gonna say - it looks like you got the reinforced tee!
  9. Thanks, didn't even check the website closely. No brain anymore.
  10. Overseas True 12.2 goalie gear has been marked down at PureGoalie. Colors and sizes are limited. No coupon code needed. Leg pads down from $1,799 USD to $1,440 USD. Catchers down from $599 USD to $480 USD. Blockers down from $499 USD to $440 USD. Also marked down at MonkeySports, but they are even more limited in regards to size and colors. Monkey leg pads Monkey catcher Monkey blocker And at TheHockeyShop Catcher down from $679 CAD to $544 CAD. Blocker down from $550 CAD to $440 CAD. The Goalie Crease has only a couple items in stock, but they have a white 12.2 catcher/blocker combo at $850 CAD, saving you $130 CAD over buying them separate at THS. TGC also has one set of 35+2 all black 12.2 leg pads at $1,599 CAD. EDIT: Clarification and added MonkeySports and HockeyShop and TGC links.
  11. Good catch re: professor strap. Didn't know regular Custom pads come with the retail plate. From what Bauer told me, they said "NHL/IIHF plate is used for all custom orders". I haven't seen any regular custom pads to confirm that though....
  12. Was it a retail pad or custom? IIRC, the professor strap doesn't come with a retail pad and is a custom only option. If they were custom, you had to spec for it.
  13. Site-wide sale at BioSteel.com. Use code REFRESH25 for 25% off. Free shipping on orders over $45.
  14. I think you're right! Forgot what the V9s looked like.
  15. Looks like Vaughn Velocity 10.
  16. First custom Hyperlite2s are rolling out. Vapor 90 closure video was posted on GGSU: 345336808_3340050886260011_9081976716512738922_n.mp4
  17. Actor guy who was in the Suicide Squad movies and some other stuff, who kinda looks like the goalie youtuber "The Thin Red Line.". IIRC the youtuber bought some Bobrovsky pro returns that were PXs skinner as 12.2
  18. What is going on with the guy in the white jersey? Is he wearing a Zorro mask underneath the helmet or what?
  19. Teezle is Joel Kinnaman!?!?
  20. Wow, someone cares what I think As you say, it is really close. I think your knee is just a teeny bit low on the knee cradle, but you do wear a pretty bulky knee pad. And if you went smaller, you might get a little more control in the knee, but you'd give up that little of that thigh rise for your Jiggy-fly. Tough call, but I'd go with the Large.
  21. Hello all, Selling my Total Custom Pro CCM Axis 2 set. These are built to NHL rules with the lace to separate the landing gear from the pad. Just didn't like it as much as my Bauer stuff. Gear is used less than 20 times. Some minor wear on the thigh rises, pics are attached. No odor - gear was spritzed with Captodor after every use and aired out after every use. Blocker palm is in great shape. Glove probably isn't even 100% broken in, but still closes pretty great despite that. The original boot straps from CCM were leather but with a red sticker stamped on top of them. That sticker wore and ripped off early on. Leather straps were replaced with brand new leather straps sourced from Protective Athletic Wear. The pads have not been used since the straps were replaced. All zones are White Weave or Red Weave where possible. Sliding edge is red weave. Certain zones are Speedskin only. My nickname "ODIE" is embroidered on every piece. Shipped from California. Looking for $1,600 USD shipped CONUS - sorry, but shipping is expensive these days. Canada shipping, I'll have to do some calculations. These will be exclusive to this website for a week or so before I post to SLS at a higher price. Pad specs as follows: 33+1.5 Recessed foam with removable knee wrap (included, not in pics) HD toe bridge with bungee lace 3D grip knee landing Pre-curved / single break core / no break outer roll No leather strap at knee - 2" elastic only Tight fit leg channel with QMSS Shallow soft boot Under heel boot strap (Removed CCM's crappy leather boot strap and replaced with PAW boot strap) No thigh protector lace tabs Glove specs as follows: Pro stiffness Regular SR palm size 580 break Double tee AX Suede SureGrip Grey With pinky loop Regular hand (Catcher on left hand) Nylon pocket lace Blocker specs as follows: Regular SR palm size Regular hand (Blocker on right hand) AX Suede Beige with Black Palm Straight finger protection Regular fit
  22. Just going off your FTK and looking at the pad fit pic - L looks right. Catalog size chart below. At 20.5 FTK, you're topping out a Medium, but you're right in the middle of the size range of a Large. Below is the breakdown of Bauer sizes. Pros are able to mix and match to get a longer thigh and/or shorter boot, whereas we retail customers are locked into boot/shin/thigh sizes. It doesn't read well horizontally, so I put this together for retail sizes. Based on this "secret" size chart, the Medium should be the same boot length, but slightly shorter in the shin and the thigh. Judging by the pad fit pic, I don't think you'd want to lose the half inch in the knee. EDIT: I assume you're wearing skates in the fit pics, too?
  23. 9X3s started to roll into my store last week. Glove is a 60 degree break and felt noticeably crappier in terms of stiffness/closure than 20.2. Note that like the Canadian-made stock models, white-based leg pads will have FastGlide on the sliding edge while black pads will have regular jenpro.
  24. V10 legs, gloves, blockers and chesties have rolled into my store. Talk to your LHS and see if they've got them too!
