  1. Wonder if this is going to our store, then - eventually. Our Prosharp is in the employee break room
  2. Seems like it's a Pro Custom option only. Not available under normal Custom. Much like the Vapor 2-Piece blocker option. Maybe some stores will be able to order the Vapor 90 as a SMU?
  3. I saw that oh my goddddddd and @ThatCarGuyfound the customizer booklet too - https://bauer.a.bigcontent.io/v1/static/MyBauerCustomGoalGear-2023-ENG-updated03132023
  4. Hyperlite 2 customizer is live. https://www.bauer.com/pages/mybauer-goalie-gear?family=ProCustomGoalierGear2023
  5. New factory just opened up in Canada - True is claiming 8 week wait time!
  6. JFC. I'm not quite at 900 posts and I get in my own head about whether I'm posting too much

  8. Version 1.0.0

HZRDUS and Catalyst goal sticks on Page 23. Off the shelf goal pads on Page 49.
  9. If I had a team with Kraken colors, I'd lean hard into the two Seattle blues that True can do. Alternating the Seattle blues seem to really make the pads pop on the GoalieMonkey customizer. Red spots on the pads like the eyes on the Kraken logo. Navy weave on the inside edge, of course.
  10. Didn't realize Warrior ever went that high. $700 USD chesties in three years, here we go!
  11. Ouchies - $650 for a chest protector.
  12. All the documentatio and customizer, etc. stuff calls it the exact same thing, so it seems it is the same between Axis 2 and EF6.
  13. Emboss. I have Axis 2 with emboss and they slide noticeably better than my EF4 with SS. Could try putting 3M tape on them.
  14. True has Eggplant and Teal Anaheim. CCM has Eggplant Speedskin/Jenpro and Anaheim Teal Speedskin/Jenpro Vaughn/Warrior/Bauer/Brian's all don't seem to have Eggplant. They have a Teal, but it may be more of Sharks Teal than Anaheim Teal.
  15. Depends on which build you get (full fiberglass vs. full Kevlar). Fiberglass is noticeably heavier than the full Kevlar. I've never handled an Eddy before, but my full Kevlar seem pretty light compared to a retail mask, but part of that is because it has less foam. Retail masks have a ton of foam on the sides where your ears would go - but these don't. I do believe the NME VTX and CCM Axis Pro are a lighter than the Protech, though. I think the color you want depends on the base color of your wrap. If you're getting a black-based wrap, go black, etc. If you went white paint with a black-based wrap, it'd look a bit odd if you've got some white paint peeking through. Chin slings are still an option. Most people get the cages powder coated. I think Michel can do that for you. If you want a longer or shorter chin, just ask him. Shipping your mold to him? Out of your pocket. He doesn't ship the mold back - I think he measures them and keeps them for a while, but otherwise it is disposed of. Return shipping of your mask is not included in the prices on the website. --- It's been several years since I last got a mask from Michel, so my answers could be wrong!
  16. The blocker truly is nice. Nothing else is close in terms of pop. I knew you were running around on Warrior but didn't know you made the divorce official!
  17. Pure speculation, but I would not surprised if there are no plans to offer these at custom. I think they are intended as a special retail release like Bauer's Proto-V goalie stick or the AG5NT and Sling player sticks.
  18. I don't think Reebok makes the PlayDry Speedwick base layers any more, but I was a big fan. Feels much more cotton-like than my UA base layer, which feels really thin and has a silk-like texture.
  19. Plus, Bauer didn't offer M5 Pro with custom colors like they did with the 3X. And there's no guarantee they'll offer the upcoming X5 Pro with a custom color program either. You'll miss out on the internal calf feature - the bracket. Not that it's a big deal, IMO. THE IIHF/NHL calfs can have the bracket(s), but the shape/size of the wedge and calf pillow is different from retail.
  20. What excuse did Bauer give for not sending a replacement part? You may have to pull on it while unscrewing it - it can be a little difficult. Keep attempting to unscrew even when it feels stopped and it will come out. Contact your local store if Bauer isn't assisting, they may have some spare parts to give out. If Bauer and your store can't help, DM me. My store did receive some to give out. I'll see if there are any remaining and if I can get you one.
