  1. Kinda hard to chase after them when you get employee pricing though... it does sound like whoever transcribed your order from your spec sheet to the employee order form is culpable, though. Hope you're able at least to speak with the manager and figure out a solution. If the order is wrong from what's printed on the box (the employee order form specs), the manager/Bauer should be able to replace it. Bauer don't need to know it's for a customer. Manager can play it as if his own set came in wrong - if he was ordering under his own name. I had an issue with my HL2 - ordered Grip Knee and got the non-grippy knee, told Bauer about it, they offered to build a whole new pad, let me use the current ones, and send back the used pads when the new ones came in. I declined, but in their eagerness to make it right, they had put already put the order for the replacements in. Somehow, some wires got crossed after I declined getting replacements and they didn't cancel the warranty order. They showed up at my house a couple days ago. I've returned them to Bauer. I think it'll become part of their demo fleet. Funny to know that a pad with my nickname on 'em will be going all around the country/continent?
  2. Pure is having a 20% off clearance goalie items sale. Looks like today is the last day. Use code PUREDAY20 for 20% off. Lots of Warrior stuff, including F1 masks. Good hunting!
  3. Any update to this story?
  4. Those plastic screws had a habit of coming loose/stripped. Embarrassing moments at retail: "Sure, I'll show you how it works. You just unscrew the dial and the blade comes out. Easy, right? Now, just hold the steel in place and rotate the dial again and it will lock right in. It's not screwing it? Wait, let me try. Wait, I got it. Wait, wait. Hmm, it's not rotating. Uhhh...."
  5. Yes, Bauer goalie holders are pitched a bit more forward than CCMs in my experience. I think a Goalie SAM profile might be a bit more forward leaning too, but I haven't tried it before.
  6. Step Black comes in a 4mm width for the XSG holder.
  7. When you submitted the order, did you complete the Bauer Employee Purchase program Excel file? Or did you do it on Bauer.com, get the Recipe ID and pass that ID on, either to the rep or the store? Could be a transcription error of getting the Recipe specs to the Excel file. And if that's the case, I'd say the onus is on the rep/store to correct it.
  8. My order was through the Bauer employee program, so it didn't really go through the store, but there should be an order ID on your spec sheet. There's a SAP Sales Order # and a Bauer PO # - I forget which one they need to look up your order. Maybe contact the rep first? Anyway, sounds like the internal material mix-up might be enough to get a catcher re-made for you. Good luck and keep us updated!
  9. I specced Grip Knee on my Hyperlite 2 leg pads, but got the older HL1 Nash knee. Pointed it out to Bauer and they confirmed it was their mistake. They offered to build a new set of pads, and to let me use my pads until the new ones came in, at which point they would provide me a shipping label to send the old pads back. I ultimately declined the new legs. The printed specs on my order that was attached to my box did say Grip Knee though. Not sure what will happen for you if the printed form says HL2 glove. You can try calling Bauer support directly, there's a phone number on the website. I believe you have an order number printed on the top left or top right of the spec sheet that's attached to the box.
  10. i would but i think the five George Washington-flavored dollar bills in my pocket are worth more than everything you've posted to Sideline put together sorry not sorry
  11. Sent my Protech 961 back to Michel for refurbing and to change up the fit. Mailed it via USPS on June 8, and it just arrived today - three weeks later. Owwie.
  12. Monkey is doing a 4th of July sale. Use coupon code "25July4" for 25% off clearance items. Good until July 4, 2023. Warrior goalie masks on now on clearance. Pretty much nothing available in terms of catchers and blockers. Chesties, pants, and sticks to be limited to just Warrior. -------- Pure is doing a 4th of July sale. Use coupon code "4July20" for 20% off clearance items. Like the Monkey sale, lots of Warrior items here. Prices on a lot of things are the same as Monkey, but since Monkey is doing 25% off instead of 20%, you'll save some additional cash at Monkey.
  13. Brick Wall Specials at Goalie Monkey until 6/20/2023. No coupon code required. Warrior V1 Pro+ and Pro sticks at $149.98 and $108.98. I believe this is the lowest they've ever been. Limited size/colors/curves, though. They seem to have a good amount of Warrior X3 Pro+ and Pro SR chesties though. Good hunting!
  14. I've had Ultrasonic, Hyperlite 1, Mach and now HL2. I prefer the Supreme family. I've only had a couple skates so far with HL2, but rebounds seem to come off noticeably harder and I feel I can direct them better with the Supremes. Skinner board on the HL2 looks cool, and I definitely like the presence of the cuff, but if I were to do it over again, I'd go with the Mach.
  15. Right-clicking the picture links and opening them in a new tab seems to work.
  16. Congrats. And now I'm hungry.
  17. The 580 is pretty iconic so it'll be really cool to see another version of the 580 to compete with the Vapor 90 and CCM 581. The True eclipses the competition though, IMO.
  18. There's a Monkey Sports in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, which is about 15 miles from Montreal. If they're anything like Monkey Sports in the States, they'll carry Warrior.
  19. About 19.5". If I recall correctly, I was landing a little bit low on these.
