    Defintely make sure to dial in your pad size and double check that before ordering. When I ordered my custom CCM's, I was roughly in-between two stock sizes and made sure I received the custom size I needed. I am sure there's horror stories out there of goalies receiving custom gear that is too short/tall for them and that would royally suck.

    I would keep the gear for now. You just never know if/when the position will call you back. But best of luck in the next stage post-goaltending! Sounds like your new exercise routines are going great - keep up the great work!

    I loved the old modding forum, even going back to it when the GSBB site wasn't as active anymore. Just scrolling through it was really fun.

    Doesn't LA have a thing where their goalies must have a white-based coloured pad? I could be wrong but I remember when Ben Scrivens had his black Icebergs and was quickly told to switch to a lighter pad colour by upper management. Not sure if they still go by those team 'rules'.

    A lot of opinions on C/A's. My getting older choice would be the original RBK Premier 1. I currently use the CCM AB Pro (an upgraded clone, essentiually) and I really enjoy it. This thing will be hard to get rid of when that year comes.. I've never used a Brown C/A but I've always heard good things about how much of a tank it is.

    Strange. Must have been cut off by the previous owner. I would say making your own piece should suffice here, especially since the missing piece isn't too important.

    Just had my first skate since march 2020. It went abosolutely brutal. I hope it gets better. Man, I was terrible. Thank goodness it's only a shortened 8-game summer season.
